Playa Escondida exceeded all of our expectations! The resort is so private and relaxing. The Staff was excellent and the food and drinks were wonderful! It was the most relaxed my husband and I have ever been on vacation. Sol 3 was beyond perfect for us. Views of the beautiful beach and ocean from every angle. Listening to the pounding...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

This is a wonderful place, almost beyond description. If you were like us, we didn't want a Miami-like high-rise hotel in the sprawl of Puerto Vallarta. You are probably looking at Sayulita as a smaller and more 'authentic' (ie, old Mexico) option; you're wondering if you should stay IN Sayulita itself, (where the action is??) or a few miles away,...

Wonderful property -- funky and unique and beautiful all around. The staff was outstanding and so attentive. The beach is gorgeous, the food terrific. Being able to use the golf carts to get into town was so much fun. Our room was perfect.

beautiful setting on Pacific Ocean. Rooms are villas..no rooms upstairs, downstairs, or to the sides..complete privacy. Some rooms have air conditioning; others don't..some come with golf carts. Trip Advisor and other outlets state that downtown is about a 15 to 20 minute walk. They fail to state that the resort is in the mountains and the walk is sometimes at...

We had our second experience at this amazing little gem in April of 2017. The first time my husband I went in 2013 for our 10 year anniversary and this last time we brought along our 9 year old son. We LOVE playa. It is such an oasis of charm, service, incredible scenery and artistic design. My son loved the...

We stayed in the Guesthouse which was a quirky bungalow, a cross between Robinson Crusoe and the Flintstones. Loved the great view, jacuzzi, golf cart that came with the room and most of all the peace and serenity. The restaurant was also outstanding. This was pricier than my typical accommodations but it was well worth it.

My husband and I returned to Playa Escondida for his 50th birthday. We had his birthday dinner on the beach. The table was so breath-taking, right at the water’s edge. The lighting and decorations (bouquet, petals, balloons, everything!) were gorgeous. The food was delicious and the service wonderful. Playa Escondida is paradise. The staff is so warm and the setting...

Everything about this place was brilliant. Beautiful, secluded location, yet easy 20 minute walk to town square, 5 minutes by car. Beautiful beach, plenty of space for everyone, interesting architecture, every room was different. Property was easy to get around. Beautiful jungle grounds, beautiful birds that live on site. Fascinating to hear the different troupes of birds that chatter back...

My husband and I spent 5 nights to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary, leaving our 1 year old at home for our first baby free vacation. Wow, we could not have picked a better spot! Every single thing - the unique rooms, gorgeous grounds and setting, food and drinks, stellar service, and proximity to charming Sayulita, was a perfect...

This review is long overdue... We got married at Playa Escondida in October and cannot say enough about the staff and resort! Beyond friendly, informative, accommodating with every request, fun, easy-going, plus the food was amazing...the list could go on and on. We had the entire resort for our guests and every person had nothing but wonderful things to say...
