We only stayed one night in a brand new cabin with 2 bedrooms, living, dining and kitchen space and good bathroom with washing machine in a very pleasant farm setting in a pretty valley about 20 mins away from Hobart airport. Everything was provided and a good continental breakfast basket was delivered at the time requested. It contained fresh bread,... More

We stayed in the new rooms, the facilities were great! Breakfast, with still warm bread, delivered in the morning was lovely. The animals were great, especially Nelson the alpaca. Animal feeding the morning was fun for the little one.

The four of us rented the Sugarloaf Apartment. Despite our late check-in, Tara was very kind to wait up for us. The farm tour was educational and exciting with the variety of farm animals available. We met Daisy (duck), Charlie (sheep), Flossie (horse), Mika & Nelson (alpacas) and more. Our favourite was Blackie (dog), who would sit at our door... More

When we reached the farm, the dog Blackie came out to our car and welcome us. It is impressive! Blackie is nice to my son. We had a nice conversation with Tara and she told us about the farm, her work and her plans for the farm. My son enjoyed the ride on pony pretty much. The farmstay is the... More

Thank you for writing a review. I am so pleased that in the short time you were here you managed to go from being terribly scared of dogs to patting Blackie. He really is friendly and thinks everyone is his friend! We look forward to your next visit. More

It was night, we had eaten at the pub in Richmond before making our way out to Tara's and when we pulled in through the front gate in a state of slight confusion measuring up where to park, when out came Tara with a big grin and right arm waving us towards the visitor car parking. It was the start... More

The farm owner Taras gave our family a most memorable experience by taking us through everything about her farm. We fed animals with her and she led the kid ride on her horse. She introduced her farm passionately and knowledgeably. The breakfast basket she delivered to our door step every morning contained freshly made bread, home made jams, juices, fruits... More

We stayed for 2 nights, Tara is so friendly and we got a wonderful tour of the farm including getting to feed the animals. A lovely breakfast basket was waiting for us each morning including freshly baked bread. The accommodation was clean and spacious. Only 5 mins out of Richmond we really enjoyed our stay

Thank you for staying and taking the time to write a review. We're quite close to Richmond, and all the wonderful things the small town has to offer - yet still you can enjoy the peace and amazing views only found in the country when staying here. More
