My family and I stayed in the little house and rented the two rooms! It was so cute and just the right size! The owners are the sweetest people ever, and she in particular was a riot!! Her breakfast was SO GOOD and we couldn't wait to try the breakfast the next morning! It's conviently located close to the lake,...

My coworkers booked a room at the lodge for our honeymoon night. We arrived very late. It was beautiful and peaceful. The next morning Mike and Carolyn prepared a delicious breakfast. It could not have been better. We had wonderful conversation with both of them. Very kind anf helpful people. We will be coming back for our 1 year anniversary.💙

I arrived after dark and Carol was there to meet me with a welcoming smile and bottle of water. I stayed in the one of the rooms in the cabin which was clean and comfortable, complete with flat screen TV, but no Wifi, which is fine to do without for a night. The room was just the right temperature, and...

We stayed in the upstairs room in the main house. It is a beautiful place, spotlessly clean, very quiet. Carol is an excellent hostess, taking care of all our needs. Her breakfasts were out of this world delicious, and she sent along some pina colada bread for our drive home. Location is right on the mark Twain lake, which unfortunately...

I wanted to plan a weekend getaway to Mark Twain Lake for our anniversary and found the Lodge at Mark Twain Lake on the internet. Looked like the nicest place I have seen in an area where much of the lodging cares less about the décor as they cater to fishermen who are looking for a cheap bed with four...

This is a phrase you will use over and over when you hear who built the interior of this beautiful Lodge. Innkeepers Mike and Carolyn constructed the interior after the shell of the house was done. It is clean, spacious, comfortable and with a sunrise view that is awe inspiring. Near to the State Park and the lake makes this...

I highly recommend this beautiful bed and breakfast near Mark Twain Lake! It is not far from the state park if you want to hike the trails or rent a canoe. We arrived after dark, and it was pretty cold out and were greeted with the warmest welcome I could ever imagine! The innkeepers at this lodge made it so...

We stayed at the Lodge at Mark Twain Lake for a family party over the 4th of July week. The lodge is a little hidden but is a great place to stay. The main house has a common area with a kitchen and living room, as well as a nice wrap-around porch/deck. The owners (Carol & Mike) do a great...

My husband and I went to Mark Twain Lake for a weekend with my parents, and this was a perfect place to stay. It was near the lake, clean, and comfortable. Mike and Carol were great - they recommended dinner places for us both nights, which did not dissappoint. They were very welcoming and eager to help us enjoy our...

My wonderful husband surprised me by picking our honeymoon destination when we were married last October. To my delight he brought us to Lodge At Mark Twain Lake. And Lodge here is the key word...wooded cabin decor, warm and homey. From the moment we met Carol, Mike and their family we knew we were "home"! My husband Paul had recently traveled...
