Camped here with my 3 month old son. Molly, the manager, and her husband were incredibly kind and helpful. They keep this place well-maintained. Hot clean showers and fresh coffee every morning. Great camping area and friendly fellow campers. Very scenic and the creek is very nearby. I highly recommend this place.

This was our first trip in our new camper. I choose this site because it's close to our home in Great Falls. The full service sites are tight, but sites with power and water are large. We had maybe 30 feet to our neighbors. The site had 50 30 and 20 amp service. They have bathrooms with two showers. Easy... More

The campground is under new management, and new owner. We invite everyone to come stay with us and enjoy a great camping experience. We have the lowest rates around and we work very hard to improve our campground. The new owner is making sure that people have the best camping experience possible, and we strive to be polite and friendly... More

We had great time at Fort Ponderosa. Kids loved swimming and floating in Belt Creek. Lots of 12 inch trout to tempt with fly pole. Some of the infrastructure needs more cleaning and upkeep, but the price was very affordable. Will go back there again for sure!

I was a bit skeptical of returning to this campground under the new owners and the many bad reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. We had been here 3 yrs earlier and enjoyed our stay under the previous owners and were looking for a place to rejoin our 3 famlies to make repeat memories with our kids who are now... More

We stayed here for three nights with electricity and water. The campground is located in a narrow sheltered valley next to a beautiful creek. The sites are well treed and spacious. Carol was very helpful in helping us find the right campsite for us. We were using this as a sleeping destination and it was quiet and peaceful except for... More

We tent camped two nights at Ft. Ponderosa, and loved every minute of it! The sites are big and grassy with plenty of large shade trees, and Bret and Carol keep the property manicured and clean. Their rates are super affordable (about 1/2 the price of the KOA is Great Falls), and the amenities they provide were exactly what we... More

We camped here for seven days in the month of July 2012 and we had an amazing experience with Bret and Carol. They welcomed us giving us a thorough tour of the whole campground and amenities and were more than helpful throughout our whole stay. Our site was treed and had ample room with our trailer and tent. The showers,... More

We were exceptionally pleased with our two day stay at the Fort Ponderosa. As repeat campers to this lovely little park, we were pleasantly surprised by the great condition of the campground. Obviously the new owners have done alot of hard work to polish and improve it. We felt very welcome and comfortable while here. Any poor reviews that were... More
