Moss Mountain Inn is an awarding-winning eco-smart bed and breakfast located on the western border of Glacier National Park, Montana, seven miles from the park entrance at West Glacier and a half mile from the North Fork of the National Wild and Scenic Flathead River. Our three-story cedar inn sits high on six forested acres in the Flathead National Forest with views of Glacier Park. Quiet and away from traffic and park crowds, our B&B is the perfect base camp for all your Glacier expeditions. A scenic short cut to the West Glacier entrance finds you in the park in 15 minutes. You will feel both secluded from and surrounded by the majesty of Glacier. The outpost village of Polebridge, Glacier Park International Airport, and the quaint resort town of Whitefish are all within a short drive. We offer up-to-date, charming amenities, and personal attention to detail to ensure your stay with us is distinctive. When our guests arrive they often feel an immediate connection to their "Glacier Base Camp" and refer to it as "home".

Quiet location, wonderful accommodations and amenities, convenient to West Glacier entrance to the park, and stores and restaurants are close by in Columbia Falls. The Inn has lovely indoor and outdoor common areas to relax and enjoy the beautiful woodland setting. And our host was a wealth of information about the area. We highly recommend a stay at Moss Mountain Inn.

Very quiet location, great host, and very comfortable. Close to the park but off the beaten path. Whitefish is also a short distance with many amenities. I would stay here again and would also recommend to anyone looking for quiet comfort.

Wonderful quiet inn ~ 20 min drive from Glacier NP - Marguerite was a consummate hostess, accommodating our special dietary needs. Pets on property are the best! So nice to get your fur baby fix while traveling. Dogs, cats, beta fish, song birds - it was amazing!

This is one of the most beautiful places that you will ever visit. The room was spectacular, the accommodations were excellent, the location was very peaceful, quiet and friendly. The staff was amazing to interact with. I will definitely be coming back to Moss Mountain Inn for future stays in this area.

Moss Mountain Inn was the ideal starting point for my GNP adventure. Not only was the location great for a West Glacier start, but Marguerite was the perfect host, very generous with her time and expert knowledge of the area. The Inn was cozy and welcoming and the beds were extremely comfortable. I would definitely (and probably will) stay again when visiting Montana. The grounds were also very lovely.

Moss Mountain Inn was excellent! The property is lovely, there are many areas to sit and enjoy the outside. We hiked around a pond on the back of the property. There are beautiful gardens around the chalet. Our room had a south facing balcony, which we used every day to sit and watch birds. The bed was comfortable and bath well equipped. Marguerite provided great information about the local area and Glacier Park.

Margarite made us feel like old friends for our entire stay in her beautiful B&B. The home is rustic and warm with many places to sit and enjoy the surroundings. The extra little touches left nothing to be desired...coffee and snacks available 24/7, wine in the fridge. And lots of good advice for touring Glacier.

Such a wonderful find! The location was perfect to access Glacier National Park and explore other towns in the area. Breakfast selections were great. Marguerite was a super host. Just a heads up, no shoes allowed inside the inn, so bring some house slippers or thick socks to keep your feet warm :)

We stayed at MMI in mid September. A perfect location for visiting Glacier and the surrounding area. Marguerite and her daughter Callie were excellent hosts. We felt welcome and comfortable. We stayed n the Highline room. The bed was the best for a great night's sleep. The room had a huge bath with a great shower. We had a balcony overlooking the back of the property that was great for relaxing with a drink. We traveled from the Grand Tetons to Yellowstone to Glacier and this was by far the best place we stayed. Instead of just accomodations it became part of the overall vacation experience. Enjoy the mountains, the clean fresh air and the hospitality at MMI. My wife and Ihighly recommend a stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay. Marguerite and Callie are excellent hosts. Loved the solarium as a place to hang out after a good hike. Would certainly recommend to anyone wanting a more personal experience than what you'd get at a traditional hotel
