I almost want to keep this place a secret!! The whole experience of staying at the ranch was truly magical, with over the top staff, accommodations, food, wine, cocktail and activities. Not inexpensive, but we now plan on going every year to relax and recharge our batteries, and reconnect with the awesome staff, who we now consider our friends as well!!
We just returned from a 5 day stay at RC - we are still laughing and so thankful we went. We've had some luxury trips before but this one was over the top. From the pickup at our hotel in Missoula (Delaney) to the return back to Missoula (John) it was a 6 star experience. From the front desk staff Holly, Leanne, Aimee, Erin, Linda, Georgia, to Chase at the bar (thank you my friend for the great whiskey recommendations) and always keeping my whiskey glass replenished, Myron at the pistol and rifle ranges and that incredible snowmobiling trip, Jacob at the Buckle Barn, Kayden at Buckle Barn, Bella and the awesome horseback ride on Fridge and Shorty. I'm leaving names out I know but just had to call these out you made our first trip to The Ranch fantastic beyond measure! Every single staff member is so nice and the service is world-class. Every meal at The Buckle Barn was incredible - kudos to the kitchen crew there you guys rock!! Thanks for the Elk Sausage Gravy especially!!! The evening meals in the dining room equally first class every evening!!! We stayed in the lodge in the Winchester room - loved it every minute and the decor is something out of a western movie! Thanks for the Christmas Tree in our room it made the holiday!!! Shoutout to Jon the GM for telling us about Whiskey & Water Weekend next Labor Day - we already booked our return trip! We could go on and on about this property and are counting down the days until we come back next Labor Day 2021!…
This ranch is a hidden treasure. Set in the middle of nowhere is a gorgeous winter wonderland with more activities included than you could ever do in a week. My kids tried snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and UTVing for the first time ever, and we even got to sled right outside of Bear House. The kids were so tuckered out that my husband and I got to enjoy plenty of relaxation time in our beautiful accommodation. The food and wine selection was incredible. The only disappointing thing is that we didn't stay longer.
Amazing place for adventure, tranquility, and incredible food! This was a stay we will never forget! The service made us feel special and like we were the only ones there! The whole Ranch team was on the same page, it was truly amazing!
The Ranch at Rock Creek exceeded all of our expectations, from the location, cabin (Trapper Cabin), activities to the food. It truly was like something out of a winter wonderland. They have it all, and for all age groups! From horseback rides, sporting clays, sledding, ice-skating, petting zoo, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, to their very own bowling ally! We were traveling with our young daughter (15 months) and were a little nervous about keeping her entertained, especially with traveling during the winter. This wasn't a problem! With having all of your activities be private, allows you the flexibility to do as much or as little as you want. Having stayed at both Paws Up and Ranch at Rock Creek now, I have been asked what the difference is and which one I would recommend. Easy, Ranch at Rock Creek. Why? For our family it comes down to the small details. At the Ranch, the staff member makes you feel like you are family and everyone knows who you are. And they always seemed to be one step ahead of you. I'm a sucker for anticipated service! This last trip we were there celebrating my husbands birthday and from the moment we got there to the moment we drove away, everyone knew it was his birthday and it made the trip that much more special! Another example that sticks out to me is the level of service. When we showed up to any meal, there was a table ready with a highchair and sippy cup just for our daughter! She loved it! Again, its the small things that stick out to me. Oh, and nothing beats starting your morning off with freshly brewed local coffee and croissants being delivered right to your door! At the Ranch at Rock Creek you aren't just a dollar sign, you are family. …
