Chico Hot Springs Resort is about an hour's drive from Bozeman, MT. Nestled at the mouth of a canyon road at the foot of the Absaroke Range, this is a historic mountain resort with many activities and services. We had visited before to use the hot springs, but elected to stay a night following the Thanksgiving Holiday with friends. First:... More

I've lived in Montana for nearly 6 years and finally got to visit Chico and I was not disappointed. I went with 4 friends (and 3 dogs) over a Saturday night. Lodging: My date and I stayed in the Main Lodge in a room with a bathroom. The room was very small but remember it's a 100+ year old facility.... More

This was my first time to Montana, and the resort was a wonderful way to see the state. Everyone was very nice, including the group at the check in counter. The pools were incredible, and I felt more relaxed with every minute soaking. The room had no fan, so it was a bit warm (and very quiet) during the night,... More

We go to Chico a lot. It us a great place. Rustic rooms in the lodge; no phone, TV, and a shared bathroom down the hall. Grandkids love it because they can be the first in the pools when they open at 7:00 AM. Then breakfast. The brunch on Sunday is always great and very reasonably priced. Dinner in the... More

We have been hearing about this place for several years from my Uncle and others who live in MT. We finally had occasion to stop in on way home to TX last week. What a treat! We started with the massage and foot soak; followed by soaking in the hot mineral springs. After wine in the room, we had dinner... More

Had the privilege of attending a wedding here. Awesome setting for my friends western wedding. Staff did a phenomenal job. Had drinks in the bar which had ambience galore. My favorite was the restaurant and fine dining. They prepare duck like no other place I've dined. Also had an unusual flaming dessert created inside an orange. Atmosphere was down home... More

Really great place. We stayed for two nights in one of the cottages with a spectacular view. The cottage was comfortable and spatious. The whole place was charming and with a lot of rustique atmosphere. Loved the hotspring. Food really good, but somewhat overpriced in the dining room. However, warmly recommended!

We rented a small 2-bedroom rustic cabin with a small bathroom/shower for only $120/night. It was nice and clean...quiet and relaxing. There is no TV! Which was terrific...watch the mountain scenery right outside your door instead. And go relax in the hot springs swimming pool at your leisure. I definitely would like to spend a whole week there. It is... More

We could not get in the main lodge, but stayed in Andi's cabin about 10 minutes away. It is on the Loch Leven road leading to the Yellowstone River. Great for fishermen! We had 4 adults, and stayed 2 nights. Enjoyed the natural setting and did our own cooking for breakfast. Kitchen is well equipped and Andi even brought us... More

Located between Bozeman and Yellowstone, Chico Hot Springs provides the perfect retreat for relaxation and comfort. The rooms are very affordable and quaint. The lodge is historical so the rooms have not undergone any significant renovations, but that's part of Chico's charm. The beds could be updated, but I like the inn-feel with the long, windy hallways. The shared bathrooms... More
