I have stayed here many times and will continue to do so. Janice is very accomodating. The rooms are clean and the location is great, just far enough away from the center of the tourist area. We stayed in room #2 the last time. It is a great value and gives me everything I need.

I have stayed here five times on fly-fishing and recreational trips to West Yellowstone. Every time the rooms are very clean and the lady that runs the Motel is very nice and hospitable. It's off the beaten path, which I'm fine with because on a long day on the river it's nice to come back to a room that is...

Stayed here for a week in June in room #4. Got a full suite with 2bdrm/1bath, a small living room with fold-out futon bed/couch, and kitchenette. There were 2 small fridges, one in the living room, and another under the two burner stove. I noticed they can lock the kitchenette and one of the bedrooms, so assume that you could...

After reading the reviews we booked into this Motel. We were really pleased with the room.. yes, the are not ultra modern or anything, but they are quaint, clean and we had a roomy 2 Queen bed - loads of space. We each got a goodie bag when we checked in which was a really nice thought.. something you dont...

A very friendly welcome on checkin. The room is very basic, but it's perfectly adequate, and good value as it was only about £35 a night. The room I was in had a kitchenette, but the door to it was locked as that was extra, but was a fridge in the room though. Free wi-fi is available but I had...

We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit with kitchen. This is your best bet if you are visiting Yellowstone for 4 or 5 days or more. We stayed near the end of Sept. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but it was booked up every night, and very quiet. Not a peep out of the neighbors. The room...

We stayed two nights in a very large and well-furnished upstairs room without kitchen. Though the property is older, there was nothing old or worn about the room - bright quilt spreads, new touch lamps - good lighting altogether, a rarity in motel rooms. Mattresses and pillows were good quality and comfortable. The rave reviews are correct. Friendly, personal service,...

My wife and I stayed at the Lazy G from 9/9/08 to 9/12/08. The hotel is an older hotel and family owned. The room was large. It had a table and 3 chairs. The tv was small, but it had a satellite connection. The room had baseboard heat. The room was quiet, but there were noisy neighbors. The room had...

This motel conveniently locates just outside the entrance to the west entrance of the Yellowstone National Park. The room with the kitchnette was clean and well furnished. I think there is something about small operator-owned motels. They are better maintained than others. The room has 2 refrigerators and should provide enough room for everything you need for your trip. The...

We stayed at the Lazy G from August 2 to August 4 of 2008. We were shocked at the prices of hotels in West Yellowstone and squirmed pretty hard to get out of paying more than $100. per night for a room. Trip Advisor had rated this hotel highly and we were able to rent two rooms (one for my...

“I did not realize it when I made the reservation but Lazy G has more than one story. If you need a room on the first floor, you need to indicate that. I should have called ahead to make sure we were on the first floor.”
