The Hibernation House is a great basic ski lodge. You can either take a free shuttle to the lifts or walk across the street to a trail to the main lodge and ride lift number 6. At the end of the day, you can ski to the back door. It's a bit old, but still had life thanks to the...

Very nice accommodations and close to Chair #2! Fireplace and big screen Bonus. Bedroom TV very inconvenient with two remotes. Hell Roaring Saloon and the BIG surprise! Great restaurant and vastly underrated!

2nd time here. Great place to stay, very nice staff. Breakfast was home made everyday, hot and different each day. Daily room service, place to store skis, and ski boot driers. Easy ski in and out. Rooms are nice with small refrigerator, cable, and nice flat screen tv Beds are nice, comfortable.

An excellent property. Clean and well maintained. The rooms are large and comfortable. The bedding is good. The views looking toward the mountains are outstanding. We could observe the sunrise and the moonrise. We had a full moon while there.

Very enjoyable. Adam the desk clerk was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was very knowledgeable, pleasant, friendly, and helpful. When we walked away from the desk we were comfortable in feeling that we knew everything we needed to know. We requested a change in room location and responded curiously and promptly. He explain the features available such as...

comfortable common areas, friendly staff, hot tub for sore muscles, great hot breakfast, quiet room (we were on the second floor). If you're in Whitefish for skiing and don't want to break the bank this place is perfect.

For six years I have stayed on the hill at the Whitefish Mountain ski resort . I prefer to stay right on the hill instead of making the 5 mile (8 kilometre) trek up the mountain from the Town of Whitefish. There is a wide range of accommodation options right on the hill from very cheap (The Hibernation House) to...

My family has a special place in our heart for Montana. It's common for our friends and family to travel to CO for skiing but MT is the place to get away from the crowds and enjoy all of the same fun activities. I would highly recommend staying at the Morning Eagle! The accommodations were clean and the staff was...

Oh Boy is right. We love the Manchester House but do wish the owner would put a bit of money back in to the unit and give it an update. Thanks for providing your witty feedback. We're really psyched that the other parts of your vacation were outstanding and love to hear that you enjoyed Whitefish. We'll be in touch...

We had a total of 13 people on our visit and everyone enjoyed themselves. We aged from 63 down to age 4 and there was something for everyone to do. Had a great time. The resort is very clean and well maintained. The ski instructors for the kids are the BEST!!!!! Everyone at the resort is so helpful and willing...

“There are rooms on the 2nd floor on one end and first floor on the other end with offices above. For skiing we like first floor, middle, south side. Rooms about 105-111. The north side looks at a hillside and workers who come in early can wake u up in rooms 113-115. The rooms do not have a/c. ”
