Myself and my daughter had a lovely lunch on Friday 24th March. The meal looked spectacular when it arrived and the staff couldn't have been more attentive. Fresh flowers on the table, ice bucket with our bottle of white wine, lovely meal and fantastic visit, will definately visit again.

Get the pie!!! It was the best thing I've eaten at a pie for ages. Was so tasty and fresh with great thick fries and extra gravy. Fair price for quality of food and amazing service. Chilled atmosphere for lunch. Will definitely return!

This was our third visit to the Bears paw and it just gets better. We loved the extra touches for the dog too. There was a dogs bed and bowls in the bedroom and Charlie (Labrador) enjoyed his sausages that he was given for breakfast in the morning. The food was lovely and the staff extremely friendly. We will definitely...

Wonderfully comfortable room (room 5), bed was fantastic - seemed larger than a Super King, which was great for us! Lovely room with seating area, good bath room and effective heating. Restaurant part of hotel very comfortable too, nice seating to relax and read the paper by the fire. Always seems to be large parties celebrating here, but it doesn't...

Food was lovely, atmosphere great, staff attentive but not intrusive, would certainly recommend a visit, and the price wasn't too over the top for the quality of the food that was served. Plenty of car parking available.

Came here for dinner with 2 friends and had a lovely evening. Paula, who served us, was really friendly and attentive. Food was delicious - particularly the starter of spring rolls. Atmosphere was also good. Would definitely recommend and come back...want to try their Sunday roast next time!

If we are looking for a special place to eat we normally visit the Bears Paw. We booked a table for 13th March for my partners birthday and as always we were not disappointed. We had soup and a selection of bread to start, fillet steak and tagliatelle for main and ice cream and treacle tart for dessert. We don't...

Another lovely meal at The Bears Paw. Yummy tasty food, quick service and clearly fresh ingredients. A couple of little grumbles, we reserved a table with a high chair which we had to ask for, and it was then taken halfway through the meal for someone else to use. I'm currently dairy free and they made adjustments to the main...
