Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This lodge was an absolute dream! Spacious, private and very clean. Sally left beautiful flowers everywhere, which was such a lovely touch. She was accommodating and communicative. I have booked to come again in a couple for months for my parents 60th!

We had the most amazing time here. The house is absolutely stunning, the photos don’t do it justice, it’s incredible!! So clean and everything you needed was provided. Sally, the owner, was so welcoming and so accommodating as we had to change the date many times due to covid. The hot tub that they provided was wonderful, so clean and such a brilliant bonus to our weekend. We would thoroughly recommend this beautiful property, the views were amazing and it was so secluded, peaceful and quiet. Thank you Sally!

What a beautiful place, the lodge is very well designed and the Decor is perfect for its location and surrounding. The owners have done a great job and from point of booking I found sally to be very helpful and informative with all the required information. The lodge offers you a chance to forget about your day to day city stress with it’s relaxing ambience and fantastic views. The facilities on offer are perfect for your stay and the kitchen and lounge area offer an abundance of space. Every room has a special personalised touch and the two top rooms were our favourites. I would highly recommend this lodge and will most defiantly be going back in the future. Thanks sally for your hospitality Happy new year

This property is absolutely built for comfort and socialising. Enough en suite, incredibly well-designed bedrooms to satisfy 4 couples with space for 6 more people spread out over 2 rooms, we had more than enough space to fit our group of 10 comfortably in the property. The rest of the house I pretty much open plan with loads of comfy seating and a garden to the rear with phenomenal views. A wonderful experience that we can't wait to go back to.

A group of 14 family members spent Easter weekend here and what a fabulous weekend it was. The house is beautiful, quirky and full of artwork and flowers and great places for the children to explore. Roomy yet still felt cosy . We were met by Sally the owner who showed us around and had left a bowl of fruit and a bowl of chocolate eggs, lovely friendly touch, thank you. A great kitchen, we were easily able to muster up an Easter roast for 14 with plenty of table space for us. We did have fabulous weather which meant we were able to BBQ in the garden, a beautiful space with views across the fields. With 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms there were no issues with us all our own space, but great communal areas to get together. There is nothing negative to say, the children have all begged to go back next year for another Easter egg hunt. Would definitely recommend for large groups, just perfect.

My family and I have just spent a fantastic weekend celebrating my 65th birthday, Sally the owner met us on arrival and give us a full tour and introduction to this amazing Lodge. It passed all our expectation, with the large open planned kitchen, lounge and dinning room areas which was spacious for everyone to relax and enjoy. All the rooms were well equipped, clean and comfortable, and the view from the rear garden over the open fields was beautiful. The fresh flowers and fruit that was provided was also a lovely touch and the hot tub was also a great extra additional feature. Faversham was a lovely traditional market town within easy reach from the lodge. We would certainly recommend this wonderful and gorgeous property for a great family reunion.

I organised a hen party for my sister in law and we booked the lodge for a long weekend. We pulled up and it had been raining so the wood looked darker than the pictures and I was a bit worried. However we were greeted by Sally one of the owners who lives next door. We were greeted warmly and Sally took the time to go through everything we needed to know. When we walked through the front door any feeling of foreboding went immediately. It is gorgeous. It is a huge lodge but somehow remains cosy and homely. There are 6 bedrooms, 4 with en suite and 2 that have a very large family bathroom. The decor is unique but modern and beautiful. There are fantastic artworks throughout the home. The kitchen has everything you could want and is served by an aga with an electrical oven incorporated. There were fresh flowers throughout the house and there was a gigantic fruit bowl fully stocked. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough. Perfect for get togethers and everyone who attended agreed that we will need to come back again in a few years time. A most relaxing weekend.
