We stayed in chalet 130 which is quite adequate for 2 people, it sleeps 6. The kitchen and bathroom have been refurbed and it has underfloor heating for colder weather. The owner left us wine, beer, milk and biscuits in the fridge. It stated that there was WiFi in the "lounge" /clubhouse, we discovered that the lounge is not in use any more. It was most inconvenient not having WiFi (we had to stand outside the site shop to use theirs) and this would deter us from staying again. The grounds are well kept and it is very quiet (it was out of season), it is a short walk to pubs and the beach. We felt it was a tad over priced.

We stayed in Chalet 11 with our 3 small children and had a great time. Chalet 11 has sea views from the back terrace. We cooked all our meals without any difficulty as the kitchen has everything you could think of. The chalet was very cosy, comfortable and tastefully decorated. There was even a bed guard. It's great for children to be able to play on the grass in front of the chalets where you can see them from the house. We enjoyed the pool and the play area. Great location with lots of places to visit nearby. Our children didn't want to leave and keep asking when they can go back. I'd thoroughly recommend it

We used to come here every year with kids as it was a well maintained site with plenty going on. It’s always a but hit and miss with the chalets as most are privately owned so there’s no set standard you can expect to receive. In the past we’ve stayed in a couple of rank hovels but also some beautifully designed, spotless ones. This time we chose chalet 29 as it was one of the few with an upstairs loo. It didn’t come with towels, bed linen or wi-fi but was still nearly a thousand pounds. When we arrived we were extremely disappointed. There was a rusty, brown sun chair outside which wasn’t a good indication. The deck was broken and filthy, as was the door. Inside the carpet and furniture were heavily stained. The bed upstairs literally swayed from side to side, it was so unstable and I had to bleach the mould out of the shower cubicle and sink before I could use it. I did email the owners numerous time on the contact email provided but I have never received a response to this day. The site itself seemed to have gone downhill also. The main clubhouse is now shut, a fact of which we weren’t aware and were hoping to have a few drinks and meals there. The pool was fully booked and you couldn’t just turn up as you used to be able to. You had to book a time slot ahead. Then inevitably people wouldn’t turn up as they were out enjoying their holiday and the pool was just sat there empty. The crazy golf was worn and broken in places but still just about usable but the whole site feels tired, unloved and mostly like an unsupervised children’s playground these days. The pub in the village (I think it was the kings head) was welcoming and we had a lovely tea there. We also tried the one actually on the beach m, the Zetland, which was very expensive for what you got and mediocre. We went to try the other pub in the village, the rising sun, about 8.30pm after we’d been to the kings head but it was already shut 🤷🏼‍♀️ Kingsdown remains a good little spot to strike out from and explore but this site is now vastly overpriced for what you get and I suspect you could get a much nicer Airbnb somewhere closer to deal or along the coast. It will definitely be our last visit.

I stayed in chalet no 2. It was in a great spot near all the amenities and near the car park. Great little coffee van near the car park. Although I didn’t use any of the amenities they all looked good. The chalet itself was comfy and apart from the bathroom it was filthy so didn’t cook there. You will need to take everything with you ie bath mat towels and linen unless you pay extra. If the chalet was cleaned next time I would go back x

Had a wonderful stay at Chalet 60 ‘Pebbles Seaside Lodge’ within the Kingsdown Holiday Park, Kent. Kingsdown itself is set in a tranquil tree-filled park with views of the azure blue English Channel and Pebbles Seaside Lodge is a gorgeous, cosy spot to call home whilst on your hols. Sleeping up to 6 people, it has all of the necessities that you might need and the owner, Jayne, was a pleasure to deal with.

This was our fourth visit to the park. We have really fallen in love with it over the past two years. The cabins vary vastly in terms of comfort / warmth / modern amenities. You get what you pay for so shop around before booking. We just stayed in a cabin with a dreadful water heater and electricity on a pound meter which was a shame. The park has everything to keep children busy and they can roam free safely. Book tennis, golf, pool in advance (ideally day before). Avoid busy weekends like Easter as it’s very noisy and you can’t book slots at the pool. The Zetland and Rising Sun are good for dinner but again book ahead as always busy. Kingsdown beach is stunning and we enjoyed the long walk to Deal. Cabins near to the play areas are great for kids and the ones round the edge at the back better for privacy and peace, some directly look out to sea.

We recently visited Kent to see family nearby and decided to stay here for the weekend of our trip as it accommodated our family of 6. And we all said we can't wait to go back later this year. The whole feel of the place is relaxing. The cottages are fantastic and inviting. It has everything you need. There was fruit in the bowl on the table and milk in the fridge for all teas and coffees, which were packed nicely away in the cupboard. There was also front and back porches with seating and a bbq. It really was like a home away from home. The only downside for us was we had read the swimming pool was shut until march, to find it was open and we could of booked and swam for free whilst on site. But we hadn't packed our costumes and there was no nearby shops to buy a costume. But lesson learnt and when we rebook for later this year, we will definitely be packing our costumes

CHALET 25 We stayed at this chalet for 6 nights and whilst I recommend the grounds, this chalet I wouldn’t. Upon arriving, the smell of damp was overwhelming. We told as many people as we could and the maintenance man agreed that he could also smell it. The owner offered a room spray and for us to leave our windows open while we were out and the response since we have been home is that I am making up as their family members couldn’t smell it and nor could their cleaners (I actually asked for a clean our second day we were there but this was refused) Very disheartening to be totally disregarded in this day in age especially when the maintenance staff could also smell the damp. We kept all belongings in our suitcase as there were no wardrobes and didn’t want to risk our clothes smelling of damp I spoke to staff and/or the owners daily while I was here about our problem and was never offered an alternative chalet which apparently now I should have requested

The holiday park is well situated for visiting all the local attractions and the communal grounds and the pool areas well kept. Maybe we were unlucky but staying in lodge 145 was not a happy experience. The outside furniture was shabby an disgustingly dirty and needed a good scrub, as was the BBQ which was unusable and the first thing we noticed was the dirty windows on the outside. Inside the lodge was not much better, although it was furnished tastefully. We complained to the owner on the first day, but nothing was done to rectify the problems.
