The view of the Sea of Galilee is magnificent from this kibbutz. The rooms are very modern, sleek, and unobtrusive. The staff is very helpful. Breakfast and dinner are cafeteria-style. This entire area is quiet and restful.

We stayed here with a tour. Our kibbutz was spacious. It had an "off smell" (possibly stale cigarettes) and we did not have hot water for showers the first morning. We told the reception staff and when we came back from breakfast it was fixed. The property itself is breathtaking. I recommend seeing the sunrise and sunset. The food at...

Gate 1 tour placed us here for 2 nights and it did not disappoint. The village was by the sea of Galilee and you can even walk right up to the water from the back yard. The rooms all have a living room in the front and a bedroom at the back. The restroom is in-between. The rooms were clean...

A two night stay at Maagan Kibbutz Holiday Village was part or our Israel tour package. Having never stayed at a kibbutz, we were looking forward to a new experience. Not sure we got it. Photocopies of everyone's passport is mandatory. They asked that we leave them at the front desk to quicken the admitting process. I recommend returning several...

We stared here 2 nights... its on the shores of the Sea of Galilee and it was amazing... it has a full buffet every night and for breakfast, the staff speak fluent English, the rooms are that of a 4 star resort... the location is great

The resort has a lovely location on the Sea of Galilee. A bit sleepy - naturally- at this time of the year but still attractive. From the organizational point of view it is important to remember that it is run by a kibbutz. That explains some shortcomings. The reception staff is impersonal and appears annoyed by the tourists. Their policy...

This resort on the waterfront has nice clean rooms with all the amenities including A/C and wi-fi. The rooms are spacious, but they feel hotel-like in a cold not-so-cozy way. During the winter it would be nice to have some floor coverings to keep the chill away. All of the basic needs are met and the swimming area looks like...

Really enjoyed the boutique style resort. Nothing fancy but clean and cozy. If you are getting a group rate, I highly recommend especially if you want to get up early and take a walk next to the water. Its ideal for those who are touring sea of Galilee

Stayed here as part of a tour and would NOT have chosen to stay here on my own. Very nice resort on the Sea of Galilee. Looks to have a very nice pool and water sport area on the sea. I stayed here at the end of December so I did not get to take advantage of these warm weather...
