We stayed at Parmele House in late July, a busy time in Plattsmouth, NE, with bicycles, parachutes, and family reunions. Carroll was very accommodating with our travel plans, a fabulous hostess, and serves a great breakfast. The bedroom was large, comfortable and very Nebraska.

Really was a good bed and yummy breakfast.. Caroll went above and beyond. It may be a funny thing to say but the wood floors and stairs were lovely and very clean. See my photo of the porch in the morning light.

We were so lucky to find the Parmele house in Omaha. We came into town for a Zydeco Festival but wanted a quite place to rest our heads. Carroll is amazing, so welcoming and warm. Her home is beautiful and comfy. The property is quite in a small tow just outside of Omaha, perfect for a weekend. She gets our...

We were not at all familiar with the area and were so pleasantly surprised. Carroll was a wonderful hostess and person, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. She took care of all the details, recommended an awesome restaurant and even provided great company! We would love to go back some day. Gorgeous area, beautiful...

I called late on a Sunday night seeking 2 nights of shelter from the storm. Carol...who had been booked solid all weekend....graciously agreed to provide a room and scrambled to finish up her days work before I arrived. I appeared at her door looking tired and scruffy from a long day on the road hoping my appearance would not deter...

I stayed at the Parmele House in January during the rush of the campaign trail. I came away feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready for another round. Carroll goes out of her way to make every detail warm and comforting. She had a welcome sign for me in the front entry way upon my late night arrival and then served cookies...

With a couple of emails back and forth for the booking process we had it nailed down. The house was very easy to find, but parking was abit confusing. Not a big deal. Upon entering, Carroll made us feel right at home. Old world charm in this house. We booked the Lewis and Clark room, which was on the second...

Innkeeper Carroll welcomed us to our comfortable, quiet room with reading lamps and plenty of reading material. Excellent restaurant suggestion, ample breakfast, and cheerful helpfulness with our vehicle and luggage made this an exceptional stay. Highly recommended.

Carroll was very warm and welcoming. Her home is relaxing and comfortable. She gave me an excellent restaurant suggestion. Her breakfast was delicious! There was even a little treat (a riff on apple pie). I highly recommend staying here. It's east of Omaha by about 1/2 an hour. The perfect respite between two 10 hour driving days!!!
