My wife and I stayed at the City Center Hotel and played at the Nugget. We had a great time. The staff was excellent all around. We ate at Angelina's had the steak and lobster, great!! Caught the Friday comedy show, great at a good price. Played cards for hours, wonderful dealers and pit bosses. Came out even, great!!! We...

At first glance, the Nugget is unimpressive. It's old, and shows its age, inside and out. But we decided to give it a shot one evening after dinner, on our way back to our hotel. I usually play blackjack, while my wife prefers slots. The casino is much bigger than I expected, and though dated, is clean and well maintained....

My wife and I paid a short visit to the Carson Nugget in Carson City. As with all of the many casinos spread out all over the State of Nevada the staff here at the Carson Nugget really worked very hard to make my wife and I feel welcome and (I am sure they hoped) that we would stay awhile...

I have visited several times to gamble, go to the comedy club and drink wine at Alotta's. The serving waitresses would take drink orders and not return. After 45 minutes, my wife checked the floor and no waitresses were around. This has happened several times and has been getting much worse. Of all casinos in Carson City, the Nugget has...

My sis and I were pleasantly surprised to find a casino that still had many of the video poker machines we enjoy. The new Italian restaurant was not yet open, but we had a very good meal in the Eatery. Salads were fresh and prime rib and pot roast were delicious! The casino is in partnership with the City Center...

This place is in ready to throw in the towel mode. Locals seem quite dissatisfied and the few tourists are not thrilled. Save your bucks and move on. Much better gaming hotels and casinos are available for the dollars you will spend.

This a GREAT place to stop and visit when you are in the Carson City/Reno area. We had a great time!! The Casino has a fabulous wine and coffee bar with lots of fun and activities each day of the week. The Casino is well layed out with lots of Video Poker and Slots with great pay tables and loose...

To the owner, You need to seriously take a hard look at your establishment. Your new remodeled dining horror experience is an awesome attraction, if that is not what you are going for then they have failed miserably like the food and service. You customer desk is just as big of a failure. Stand in front of the desk and...

The City Center hotel associated with the Nugget is not. pretty, 1950's decor though has had some renovation. Conventional key entry, but corridors interior so not a big issue. Walking distance to many bars and restraunts. The hotel staff were great.

“My 3rd floor room faced the main street and it was quiet compared to most cities I have been to. I am told that rooms on the West side of the building are even quieter. Not 100% sure, but they also may have views of the mountains on that side. They don't have a swimming pool or fitness center that I know of so I couldn't rate those. Beds are super comfortable.”

“The Nugget is a casino, not a hotel, the hotel associated with the casino is the City Center Hotel. All rooms have been renovated and are quite nice. Does not serve breakfast.”
