The Biltmore Casino and Hotel in North Tahoe is a nice little quiet place to stay. The Casino is MUCH smaller than most but has the requisite slots and Table Games that most want. I did not stay or eat there, so I cannot comment on that aspect of the place. It was a Wednesday I was there and Tables...

My friends have been regulars at the Biltmore for years and I finally had the chance to experience it for myself last weekend. What a place! Set just off the shore of stunning Lake Tahoe, the Biltmore is a charmingly rustic dive hotel and casino, offering unbelievably low rates and the perfect location for a crazy weekend getaway with friends....

A true dump. So called "cottages". With no AC, peeling paint on every surface and upkeep worse than World War 2 barracks. Tried to get dry towels after being inn the pool and was told I had to have ID or leave my phone for collateral. When I said if I call from myroom for towels will they bring me...

It is common practice at most hotels to leave a deposit for pool towels. We however try to make it easy by only asking for an I.D. as collateral for our pool towels. Also we stock all our rooms with plenty of towels and wash cloths. Lake Tahoe temperatures in August normally drop into the 50's and 60's at night...

First Of All I would like to Thank the Biltmore Staff for keeping the our Cottage clean. The Cottage rms are very basic but it suited our needs. We came up from LA and had two ajoining rms at a great price. They brought in a baby crib for our little one and the rm was warm with the use...

I have been staying here for decades...usually in the winter to ski at Northstar (15 minutes drive). I love that my partner and I can bring our dog for $20.00 extra. The cottages are dog friendly...and smell very clean when we arrive. Yes, the hotel is old...as old as I (65 years young)...but for $39.00 a nite, $2.00 cocktails, great...

EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS HOTEL WAS AWEFUL! From the VERY beginning, our experience with this hotel/staff was horrible. We experienced a one-hour check in (only one SLOW gal working the front desk), and we were in a "cottage." These are terrible rooms! You hear every sound outside or around you. Our room had wet/damp floors, the bathroom window was frozen open...

In response to this review the Tahoe Biltmore would like to clarify a few things. On an extremely busy night our check in process can take up to 15 minutes. We do understand that many of our guests have been traveling or skiing all day and are tired and just want to get to a room ASAP. We do everything...

My relationship with the biltmore began in the late 70's as a guest and later employee. It was the nevada lodge then. Its quirky and not a lot of glitz. You have to go down to the hyatt for that. No spa treatment here. But it has a small town local flavor that makes you feel part of your wonderfull...

Stayed at the Tahoe Biltmore after a long day at the Reno Air Races anticipating a nice day the next day touring around Lake Tahoe and hitting our favorite beach. We had a coupon for $35.00 room and decided to use it. We were placed across the street from the main building in the motel. 1st floor. Room was clean...

Stopped in several times while in the Lake Tahoe area, for dining and an hour of casino play. The interior of the main building reminds me of a 1940's era grand hotel which probably was quite a spot in it's day. Our primary reason to visit was to have a lunch one day and supper the next. They have a...
