I was here earlier this year for an over night stay with some friends and my brother. The hotel room we had was smaller and cozier but was very clean and well maintained. The whole building is very well kept and considering it was built...More
Modern fixtures/furnishings that look like from the late 1800s; claw-foot tub. BIG bathroom, lots of room. Very clean. Creaky floor and no WiFi (good!) both add to "old" ambiance. 12' ceilings; comfy bed; nice towels. Two night stands but only 1 lamp. 3-light ceiling fixture,...More

Yes you can rent a room in the Jackson house hotel....you will need to call them directly for a reservation. When you get there you have to go down the street to the much newer hotel to check in. Both are owned by the same person and the Jackson hotel doesn't have a check in desk per say. Almost all the rooms are available to rent except for one which the door isn't accessible. It keeps locking on the staff and guests so the just don't rent it out.
