This place is really staying in the Old West. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable, but there is no refrigerator. The Saloon is a gem. Cold beer, cranky (not really) bartender and frozen pizza for dinner. You will not believe the stars.
I do not remember just how many rooms there are, but they are in two buildings. Maybe eight rooms. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet. Walk out at night and look up. You can actually see stars. A lot of stars. Very nice change from...More
The Santa Fe Saloon has the best Bloody Mary. The bartender is always friendly, no matter who it has been over the years. Very welcome place to get off the road and find out some local history while you wet your whistle for a bit.

It depends on the time of year, if there is an event in the area, things are different in the middle of nowhere. I would recommend calling to make sure there is availability. As far as food goes, the Dinky Diner is pretty much the best bet for food nearby. I would also suggest calling to make sure they are serving food on the days you are thinking of being there. The general rule is, hours are ruled by business. No one comes in for the day they probably will be closed even if google says otherwise.
