I was undecided as to rate this hotel poor or average, but seeing as I did complain about the internet and a couple of other minor things I rated it as poor. Most reviews seem to say this hotel is good value I would say...More
Great hotel for the price! It is clean and the service is great! The only downfall is it is pretty out of the way compared to everything else. You have to walk a long ways to get to anything on the strip. The casino is...More

I wouldn’t worry too much about these things you’ve mentioned. The only thing that i noticed you wrote that came off as negative was that you’re spending 7 days in Vegas. That’s a pretty long time to spend in Vegas. But that’s really it, don’t cancel your vacation!! I will admit, It is a weird location. It’s kind of out of the way, but sort of in the middle of everything. Are you renting a car? Most Vegas activities are within a 20 mn drive in either direction from Stratosphere anyways (from what i remember.) I didn’t love the surrounding area, but i still walked around (two 26 year old guys strong) really late and never felt unsafe. The rooms were fine to me. They were clean, and that’s all I require. Stratosphere is cool for your situation because you can do the traditional fun (gambling, dancing, drinking) of Vegas in your Casino, which I’m sure your girls are looking forward to. But there are still other fun stuff to do to break up the partying like walk around their stores and enjoy the rides or whatever else! Have fun and be safe!

There is a resort fee of approximately $34.00 per night. There is also a hotel tax of between 12%-13% depending upon what part of Vegas you are staying in. The 12% tax is in addition to the resort fee of $34.00.
