Every year my husband and I take a weekend in February and go to Las Vegas. We always stay in the Strip. This time we decided to do something different and stay off the Strip. We stayed at the J W Marriott Las Vegas. This hotel is in Summerlin, just a 20 minute drive from the Strip. The hotel arranged...

Resort property is huge so if your room is at the Palms Tower, you will have a long walk to get to your room after registeration. And since its Vegas, you walk thru the casino halls and the buffet line. Opt for the Resort Fee as that gives enhanced wifi, spa(gym) access, and bottled water in the room for 18.99...

I stay in hotels several times per month and I'm not that hard to please. I like a good location, comfortable bed, and friendly service. But I'm pretty low fuss and I don't ask much of hotel staff. We come to Vegas every year for a lacrosse tournament and I've stayed at the Red Rock Resort and Courtyard Marriott previously....

Thank you for sharing your experience, I am upset at how your stay experience progressed; and I understand why you are unhappy. I am sorry your particular stay was one that left a extremely unwelcoming feeling with you and your family. I would be happy to further discuss the experience if you have the time.

We went to Las Vegas for a Soccer Tournament weekend and opted not to stay at the team hotel down the road, and are we ever glad we were able to stay here instead. What a welcome relief and the staff was so great, even returning from matches in filthy soccer gear and all... but beside all of that, this...

Especially if you need to get away from The Strip (which I ALWAYS do). A well maintained property on the far west side, closer to Red Rocks than to the strip. But not isolated. Across the street from TPC and very close to some great shopping and dining options. And if you MUST go to The Strip - only about...

We spent 5 nights at this Marriott. We have been here several times before but it just keeps getting better. We had some travel delays and arrived around 2:00 AM, totally exhausted. We were greeted like long lost family by Drew at the reception desk. He made our check in effortless and upgraded us to a suite. The property is...

Being located 16 miles away from Downtown but gave me feeling of everything under one boundary...casino,spa,pub,dinning etc i recommend this place for someone who want to enjoy with family . You can spent night on strip in Downtown but day is yours in campus.

We had a suite. The room was large, clean and well appointed. Several good restaurants to choose from and as well as a spa and small gift/sundry shop. There is an excellent golf course that Justin Timberlake has hosted celebrity golf outings at. The casino isn't very large, but we always have much better luck here than on the strip....

We stayed here before moving to the Cosmo on the Strip as we wanted a few days chilling. Big mistake. Not up to normal JW Marriott standard. the hotel was dated, and stank of smoke everywhere. Really needs updating desperately. Food average, apart from the Carmel room, which had been relocated to the main restaurant and had no atmosphere, but made up for it...

Simon, I am sorry we left such horrible experience with you last summer, in reading your commentary I am happy to say that we are approaching a new pool season where I can express how our guest perception can make or break a stay. Glad to hear that you enjoyed the food in Carmel, which has been transformed into a...

I stayed here at the end of January for a business trip. The Palms Tower seemed deserted with respect to Marriott staff aside from the valet. Walked through the casino one night and was average. Main complaint was with the exercise room in the Palms Tower. I understand that there is a nicer facility in the main tower, but when...
