My first visit to the Marriott resort & spa. Large first class hotel on the west side of town. Covered parking garage with no fee. Has plenty of excellent dining options. Hawthorn grill, Shizen sushi bar, Spiedini Italian, Rampart buffet, Promenade café, Starbucks, etc. Nice pool but closed at 7pm. The hotel is directly connected to the full Rampart casino....

This beautiful property is located in a very high end part of Vegas and only 20 minute drive to the strip. There are shops and restaurants and small lakes with vistas to die for when you are up only a few floors. The staff is wonderful and the valets are amazing.

We purchased a 3 day stay for this property at a charity event and, having to travel to Vegas to attend a Trade Show at the LV Convention Center, thought we'd stay here. Not the best idea. While the resort is lovely, it is DEAD at night (hard to find even one bar open after 10 pm) and the trip...

Thank you for the nice compliments about the grounds and supporting us as ideal place for weddings and vacationing! Being a resort we are a bit quiet, but we do have a 24 hour bar in the casino... sorry if we missed you - perhaps next time!

Extreamly relaxing resort and friendly staff. Used the shuttle service to the strip which was a great service. Found the buffet to be very good at half the cost of strip buffets. Recomend this resort of you want relaxation, while avoiding the high costs of the strip.

Great hotel. Beautiful grounds. Find one of the gliders around the pond/waterfall and sit with your sweetie or read a book. The rooms are lovely. The amenities are very nice. Great soaking tub. Take a nice walk to Tivoli Village and do NOT miss Cafe Leon. Their salads and sandwiches and ALMOND CROISSANTS are worth everything. There are really cute...

This is the 2nd time I have spent a weekend here. It is away from the madness of the strip and pretty quiet. The property is very nice even though we never made it to the pool or golf course. This weekend was with my husband and son for my birthday and Mothers Day. We had a great weekend and...

Visited Rampart casino for the first time. Truly a gorgeous casino and resort in breath-taking surroundings. Excellent assortment of slots and table games at every level. $5 min, no-commission Pai Gow Poker was a real find! We'll definitely be coming back!

Choose the Palms Tower if you want a quiet room away from the casino. Room fixtures still need some updating. Some renovations closed my favorite restaurant and bar to be replaced by gaming rooms. Very sad for this and the alternative dining choices are not worth the effort. In summary, an okay place to stay.

Thank you for the tip, I too like the Palms tower... it is quieter on most occasions. We are sad to see the pub close for changes, but change can be good - have you tried Hawthorn? Although it may not have the beer selection and the old pub feel, Hawthorn has an amazing menu and really cool bar set-up!...

I had a scheduled business trip that took place at the JW Resort in Las Vegas. I was extremely surprised to see how far the Resort was from the Strip. Resort was likely extremely beautiful in its day but I found it to be dated and in need of a makeover. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable but the soft...

Thank you for the nice comments! Our Mediterranean look lends to the dated appearance of the resort, while the rooms are spacious they are still a work in progress - and the grounds, yes always amazing!

Meeting end of April, rooms were spacious, grounds were beautiful, so be sure to get outside! Be aware, if you have meetings, it may be A very long walk. Also, you should know that the shuttle to the strip only runs limited hours, uber is about $10.
