I travel frequently and stay in a lot of hotels. Excalibur has its pros and cons. The casino, pool area and food options were all great, but our room was disappointing. They did not have blackout curtains, no mini fridges, and the room seemed really run down compared to the rest of the hotel. Plus, the music from the pool...

After years of avoiding Las Vegas, I conceded and attended a conference here last July. I was on a budget and Excalibur was a very reasonable price. The hotel itself is beautiful and fun especially for someone like me who enjoys Medieval times. You feel like you are walking around an ancient castle especially if you attend the Tournament of...

I visit Las Vegas about four times a year for work for trade shows, and upon arriving I learned they no longer have any smoking rooms. Smoking rooms were the one redeeming thing to me about Las Vegas work trips. They placed me in a room on the first floor so that I would have access to the casino whenever...

Arrived on a Friday night at about 8:30 pm. Excited to get into the hotel. Wanted to buy a meal, but then things went awry. The check-in line took nearly an hour- got done at 9:30 pm. I was then informed that the sit-down restaurants closed at 10 pm. In short, only fast food in the hotel. Completely disappointing. If...

I can't say we made the best choice staying here. The location is great (because it's walking distance from all the great places on the Strip) but the hotel was substandard. There was renovation going on by the pool (outdoors and closed) so we had to take a long route to the car park - it was unexpectedly cold. The...

A coworker of mine highly recommended this place- wish I wouldn't have listened! First, the room smelled moldy and like sewerage. Second, the mini bar was half stocked and half the bottles were opened already, pretty sure one was full of piss. The bed sheets looked like they hadn't been washed in months. I have twin boys and their dirty...

We did have a pleasant stay last weekend. Mr. Aron from VIP reservations helped us to do the booking. We visit every year and feel a good ambience therein. We have good memories of the place. This year we did have to pay parking fees of $8 per night for our 2 nights vacation. The casino floor at Excalibur was...

I asked for a high up room, rather than a room with a view. I got 23rd floor, in the Resort tower, but the view was of the back of the front corner of the hotel, looking directly at New York Hotel just beyond. Not a bad view, as long as I didn't look down, for that was the roof...

I stayed here because it was convenient to Mandalay Bay for a conference. Unfortunately the rooms need major updating. I can get past that since I wasn't exactly paying that much, but I did get pick-pocketed on premises. That makes vegas hard to enjoy.
