Keep in mind this hotel is $50 or less, don't expect too much. There were kids running all over the place, up and down the outside halls- I guess their parents were more worried about slots than their offspring but who am I to judge. Its ok to crash here for the night, wake up and have $3.99 bacon and...

Let me first say, this hotel (it really is more of a motel) is a good value. The prices are cheap, and the rooms are no frills but clean. If you book a room here and try to compare it to a Marriott, or Holiday Inn, or even a Days Inn -- you are going to be disappointed. You get...

As a Canadian passing through for a quick sleep and pass through I saw the sign on the highway advertising $27 rooms. When I called they said for president day weekend the cheapest room was $88 so I booked. Turned out the last room available was a pet room that smelled of dog urine. Dogs belong outside on a farm...

I'm staying at the Virgin RIver right now. There is a family with kids upstairs and they are running around, jumping, etc. Very noisy. I called the front desk at 9 asking about quiet hours, which it turns out are 10 to 7, but they said they would send security anyway. 9:30 and it sounds like a gymnasium upstairs. I...

This hotel seemed to be the best value in town, so I was skeptical, but it was clean and comfortable. We had the prime rib dinner and the ham steak breakfast and both was superb. Best overall bargain in Mesquite.

Mesquite is such a useful stopover when avoiding Las Vegas, and several casinos offer budget rooms that are pleasant enough to ignore the noisy and smelly gaming floors. We have happily stayed at the "sister" casino, Casa Blanca, several times. This time, however, we were travelling with a small dog, and Casa Blanca does not allow pets. But Virgin Rivers...

We booked this room, online from the lobby of the hotel because we were able to get a better rate of $32.00 plus tax with $10.00 free play at the casino. We were given a room in Building 7. The room was basic, to say the least. It had 2 beds, a small table and 2 chairs, a sink/vanity/closet area...

We booked our room through Orbitz and had to wait an hour for someone to get there to check us in because it was an online reservation. So, be careful if you book this hotel. The staff was totally unwilling to help..

We visit mesquite like 6 to 8 times a year and we always stay at the virgin river which we love. Great arcade and bowling, rooms are a lot nicer then they used to be. My only complaint is when we get to the virgin river the check in parking spots are always full so you have to drive around...

We stayed an extra night in Mesquite. Nothing fancy about this place. Very basic and the price is a good value. The diner was delicious and had a good prime rib dinner for free based off of my club card points. I have eaten at the buffet before and their food is far better than Casablanca's buffet.
