The motel was quite dirty. Although it looks like they might have tried to clean it, it was just not enough. At least not in our room. Crumpled sheets to all kinds of black things in the bottom of the tub. It even smelled foul. However we did manage to sleep a few hours in a very soft uncomfortable bed....

Really, you would be better off sleeping on the desert floor with the spiders and snakes.....The National 9 in Tonopah Nevada had Terrible service, un-kept building and filthy rooms. Very cheap and sleazy look.

After hours of driving in long stretches of wilderness – and many miles to go – this inn at the far end of town was a welcome sight at sundown. Considering the limited lodging options in this remote desert region, we were grateful that a few hotels were even here. And what a bonus to have such reasonable senior rates...

Price is right, bed was comfortable, desk person was friendly. But the sheets were stained and I had to examine carefully to confirm that stains were old and not fresh. Most important - there was a bar of soap on the floor of the bathtub that I nearly stepped. If I had stepped on the soap I probably would have...

Driving from Reno to Laughlin, leaving late we didn't want to do it in one day nor drive after dark. Having stayed at a National 9 at Price Utah several years ago, we decided to try this one at Tonopah. The good: friendly office people at check-in and room was clean, the bed looked inviting, there was a microwave and...

the room itself was good. if they would fix the tv problem it would be a good place to stay. but with 14 channels listed and not being able to able access any is bad. the staff seemed unconcerned, i will not stay here again.

Yea, it's an older building, but it's been maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the towels were soft, and the sheets were fresh. The "Continental Breakfast" surpassed many others. Just don't expect to be able to plug in more than 4 electronic devices unless you bring an extension cord. LOL Great stay, excellent value.

what caught my eye was the sign, we were looking for a super 8. yea it could use some paint, however the rooms are in a state of renovation, the one we had was way cool those new pillow top serta's gave me a comfy night of sleep. We asked to see the room before we took it. I would...

This was the last place we tried in Tonopah for a room, and I'm pretty sure we got the last one in town. I didn't expect much for the price, but I was actually quite worried when we got to the room. The door looked like it had been kicked in more than once, the room and fixtures were dirty...

If you have a reason to stay in Tonopah like metal detecting or sifting through the dump then this might be a good place for you to stay. The managers know the area well and they collect also. Go see their collection. This is the second time I have stayed here and the rooms are good and with internet and...
