This is the perfect B & B property and location! Michael and Carol are fantastic hosts, the lodge is beautiful and the breakfast fantastic. There is a wonderful ambience here and we met some really lovely people. There are great social spaces and areas for relaxing and playing games. We recently stayed at Bear Mountain Lodge for 3 nights during a trip to New England. The lodge is very comfortable with amazing views of the surrounding countryside from many rooms. Carol and Michael were excellent hosts who made us feel very welcome in their beautiful lodge. Carol's cookies were delicious and her breakfasts were also fantastic. We particularly enjoyed...

Just off the road, this lodge is set up with all the comfort you could wish for. The rooms are very large and each has their own bathroom. The common areas are equipped with a nice stove for cold nights and games to keep you entertained. The view from the back porch is stunning. Breakfast is cooked each morning by...

Wonderful lodge, great location for touring the White Mountain NF area, spacious and comfortable rooms, grand common areas, splendid views from the back deck. Michael and Carol are very welcoming and made us feel right at home. Michael got the fire pit going on our first evening there, which we enjoyed while stargazing on a cloudless night. We only had...

This was a fabulous find - we stayed here 2 nights sorry we could not have stayed longer. We stayed in the Eagles nest room - extremely spacious - overlooking the mountains and with jacuzzi in bedroom. The amenities were fabulous - if I could I would have rated this property as a 10. Made to feel extremely welcome and...

This was our very first experience with a B & B and now I'm afraid we have been very spoiled! The lodge was everything that we expected and more. Michael greeted us as soon as we arrived and was funny and engaging. He showed us around the lodge, pointing out where we would find beverages, cookies as soon as they...

This B n B is new (or seems like it) clean and well appointed! Our room was huge with a fireplace and jacuzzi which both worked well. The views from the big back deck are exceptional, especially since the foliage was on full display! Michael and Carol made us feel right at home from arrival to wave goodbye. Breakfast was...

The lodge is set way back from the main road so there is absolutely no traffic sound. The room was huge, the bathroom large. The bed was extremely comfortable, with a feather-bed under a padded topper so you sink right in. They provided a pair of super comfortable bathrobes as well. The view from the back porch was pretty. The...

My husband and I spent two nights at Bear Mountain Lodge. We were in the area to do some hiking and thought this would be a convenient location. We were greeted by Michael who gave us a tour and showed us our room. We stayed in the Whitetail room. The room was described perfectly on the website so it was...
