On October 1st and 2nd, 2014, we stayed at the wonderful Kinsman Lodge in Franconia, NH. This was our THIRD visit to Kinsman. We love to visit New England in the fall and Sue and Chet Thompson, Kinsman owners, make us feel like family members. Their hospitality is incredible. Not only did we enojoy their yummy, generous breakfasts, but their...

Clean, comfortable with reasonable rates. Well, that is not the end of this review only the beginning. Sue and Chet have made the Kinsman Lodge feel like my second home for over ten years. I visit the White Mountains every Spring and Fall. It is a perfect location to do day hikes from. There is no better way to start...

Sue and Chet make you fill right at home. The breakfast they serve up is excellent and really starts your day off right. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Sitting on the front porch is a great way to relax at the end of your adventuresome day.

This is our second time staying at Kinsman Lodge. Sue and Chet are lovely hosts and they make you feel at home. The bed and pillows are comfortable. The soundproofing may not be excellent but it's an old house so it's expected. The bathrooms are shared but it's not really a problem as it is always clean. The breakfast is...

The owners, Sue and Chet Thompson are running a family friendly B & B with 4 star meals. The bed rooms are named after local places with comfortable beds. The breakfast can be a quick serve yourself or something home made on the griddle. Only minutes from Cannon Mountain-don't miss the ski museum or aerial tram. If you ask nicely,...

This lovely wee spot is everything a B and B should be. Homely, comfy and welcoming. Sue and Chet are great hosts. I had a GREAT value single room and a shared bathroom which was no inconvenience whatsoever. A delicious home made breakfast was ( almost ) worth the cost of the stay alone! i settled myself by one of...

When we booked at Kinsman Lodge, we really didn't knew what to expect. We were also worried about the shared bathroom and it's cleanliness. We were welcomed by Sue who is absolutely adorable! The house itself is beautiful, our room was nice and cozy. The shared bathrooms (there are many of them, we never had to wait for someone to...

So comfortable. You can sit quietly on the porch or in the den, take a stroll, admire the garden and farm fields. Breakfast's main attraction changes each day but fruit, cereal, omelets and eggs to order are always offered.

We spent 2 weekend nights at the Kinsman Lodge and were very impressed. We were in town for the White Mountain Triathlon. Words can not describe how warm and welcoming Sue and Chet were during our stay. They want you to enjoy Franconia and gave us great tips while we were looking for hikes, stores, etc. They also made us...

Kinsman Lodge is the perfect NH inn. Friendly, welcoming hosts. Beautifully decorated farmhouse that has been in the owner's family for generations. Peaceful, quiet location. Delicious, filling breakfast. Porch for relaxing. I did not want to leave and I dream of returning here!
