Our family of four stayed here in July. We were met by Avril and she happily showed us around all the facilities and amenities. The yurts (there are only 5) are wonderful and easily sleep a family of four. There is a wood burner for the chilly nights. The adjoining kitchen is perfect for cooking breakfast and making packed lunches etc. We also used the BBQ one night and made daily use of the central gazebo to sit and meet other guests. The showers and toilet facilities are spotless with all-day hot running water. I cannot fault Lowarth glamping and highly recommend it. We will definitely be back.
We spent a week at Lowarth glamping, it was our first family camping experience and it was absolutely amazing. Avril met us as soon as we got there to show us all around. My 12 and three year old boys were so excited, and especially loved the social tent where they hung out with others chilled and watched dvd’s and played games. All facilities were clean at all times, the little kitchen annex at the back of our tent allowed is to cook breakfast and supper. We was very surprised we had access to WiFi I managed to watch a film on my sky go app without using my data. . The location was good, there was an Aldi, Tesco, B&M bargains and Wadebridge town just minutes away, such a beautiful town with a lovely 1950’s cinema we watched lion king at when it was raining. To get to other awesome places in Cornwall at least an hour and half needs to be expected, although there is a fabulous beach 20 minutes away called Polzeath, awesome for surf!!!! Overall a brilliant holiday!!😃🏄🏻♀️🏄🏻♀️🏄🏻♀️🏄🏻♀️🌊…
I booked Lowarth for 15 girls for my friends hen do. Avril was extremely helpful when booking and before our arrival. The site was beautiful! The tents were nicely done and very comfortable. The site was very clean. We booked a hot tub which Avril then coordinated for us so it was set up and ready when we got there. Avril was again helpful on the day of check out and I’m sure a number of us will go back with our families. Couldn’t have been happier with out site choice :)
I booked the whole site for a hen do and couldn’t have been happier with our choice! Avril who owns the site is absolutely lovely and so helpful, she made us very welcome. Her sister did Shiatsu massage for us and we hired in a hot tub from Miss Tubs which fitted perfectly next to the fire pit and bbq area. The site itself is in a gorgeous location and very well kept with beautiful flower boarders. We had bikes delivered and cycled the Camel Trail down to Padstow which is a beautiful route! Overall, I thoroughly recommend Lowarth!
1. Delightful welcome from the owner(?) on arrival and then a quick “hello” from the sister(?) the next day too. 2. Extremely comfy bed especially with its mattress topper and extra blanket if needed 3. Cosy at night with its solar powered fairy lights and wood burner. 4. Simple toilets/showers/kitchen but that’s absolutely what we were expecting/wanted. 5. Check out The Quarryman pub just five minutes walk round the corner. Tasty grub and surprisingly busy with diners when we popped in on a Monday!! Lovely Merlot 6. Charged our phones in the kitchen overnight one night but otherwise used our own battery packs inside the tent. We’re not particularly “security conscious” but some people might be reluctant to leave stuff away from their tent I guess ... but you are glancing after all. It isn’t supposed to be The Ritz :) 7. Would go back!…
