I was thinking Palm tress and sun, my husband relished the thought of cold and snow... Not having much snow in Boston the past year we decided on New Hampshire. I am so glad that we did...Our stay at the Manor on Golden Pond was one of the best B&B experiences that we have ever had.. The Manor itself is...

My fiance and I came up from Boston for a weekend winter getaway, and The Manor did not disappoint! Fabulous, individualized service that really made us feel like special guest. The accommodations are fantastic (rooms with a jacuzzi and fireplace are definitely worth it), as was the food - we ended up eating in The Manor's restaurant both nights (first...

We stayed at the Manor for 2 nights this old mansion is a delight for visitors with nicely furnished rooms and attention to detail that is way above and beyond. The restaurant is 5 stars and the chef there is on his game! Fabulous wine list to boot and the help goes the extra mile to ensure that you are...

Beautiful property. We stayed in the Buckingham and loved it, especially the wood-burning fireplace in our room! Staff were very nice and accommodating! Don't know if it is correct or not, but I found info online that it was the property where the cast and crew stayed during the filming of On Golden Pond in what, 1981?? Breakfast was delicious...

We stayed 2 nights and were made very welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room (Buckingham) was lovely with wonderful views. The bathroom cosmetics were a nice touch. We ate in the restaurant one night - this was very good but unfortunately it seems the restaurant is not open every evening and so we had to eat elsewhere on...

Always figure this place was very expensive. I checked the menu online before going and was pretty much correct. The hosts were very warm and helpful. And the food was delicious. The dining room had maybe eight tables, only one set up for four on our night. Portions were nothing to write home about. The beef dish might have been...

This was our first visit to The Manor on Golden Pond. We loved it! It had the feel of being in a friend's home and Brian & Mary Ellen did their best to make it special. The Manor comes with our high recommendation!

We spent four delightful nights at The Manor on Golden Pond. Brian is an excellent host: helpful when I made the booking by phone long in advance, he was equally helpful when we arrived. Although he must have done so hundreds of times, he spent time and care acquainting us with the area, trips to make, etc. A very helpful...
