The summit resort is a great place to stay…..the employees (Karen and all the others) give their best to make your stay as comfortable (and clean) as possible…the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathroom condos are spacious for your stay….amenities are pools, hot tub, workout room and racketball court to name a few….close locations to restaurants, theaters, and many outdoor activities...

At the resort, we had a very nice visit with a few of our family members. The rooms were very clean, however, when we took the dishes out of the cabinets there was food on quite a few of the dishes and pans. The dish soap, dishcloths, and potholders were also missing. When we called the front desk they provided the items and we washed all of the items.

Stayed 5 nights in an executive suite/condo (highest level) with 2 young children (2 & 5). I had stayed here as a child 20 years ago which is what brought me back. I will say everything was pretty much the same, which is good and bad.
The good:
1. Everything about the kitchen - appliances worked well, had all the kitchen tools necesssary which was great because we ate in all but 1 meal. It was also nice to have a propane grill right outside the building which I used 3 out of 5 nights
2. Most of the rest of the condo: Both bathrooms were very nice, washer and dryer were easy to use and very convenient. Very clean, plenty of room. Climate control worked very well, which was great considering we were in the middle of a heat wave.
2. Amenities: Not going to blow you away but had good direct TV, nice televisions in the living room and both bedrooms (helpful with the kids). Playground was very nice as was the tennis court, horse shoe pit and cornhole. Kids loved the pool, waterslides were great, and it was nice to have a shallower small pool for little kids as well. For the adults the roman spa was excellent.
3. Staff was very friendly and helpful whenever needed.
4. Location is perfect - your 5-15 mins from all of the area attractions as well as walmart and grocery stores, but the resort is set back in the woods and is very quiet, so you don't feel like you're in the middle of a resort area.
The bad: Not a whole lot really
1. Check in girl left a little to be desired, was not very helpful and the questions I did ask her she didn't really give me good answers to.
2. The furniture was 50/50. Patio furniture was nice, the 2 chairs in the living room were nice, but the couch was not so much, you could feel the springs in your back. It was passable but could use an update. The beds were also just okay, we've slept on better and worse, but the only big issue was the pillows. my kids were ok, but I had to go buy my own pillow as I went through the first 2 nights feeling like a piece of plywood was underneath. I figured it was easier to just buy one than to ask for another and run into the same problem. Slept much better after that.

Overall, it's not going to blow you away with luxury, but for the price you can't find much better. We were very comfortable, had plenty of space, and would definitely go back if we decide to vacation in central NH again.

Pluses: The apartment-like feel and large size of each unit was great because our kids are getting older. They are too old to share a bed, so the twin beds were good. We also liked having a parents' bedroom and parents' bathroom. There were 3 TVs in the unit as well as a kitchen with full size fridge. The pool and hot tub were the perfect temperature. Lots of sports equipment, board games, and puzzles. Location is excellent - quiet, but close to everything. Having free laundry in our unit was very convenient.

Minuses: As others note, floors were thin. We could hear people moving around above us, taking showers, etc. Luckily, they were quiet at night.

Neutrals: Some minor maintenance issues but nothing major. Unit was very clean. Main bed was very firm. Some of the decor is dated, though they are updating. Buildings are not attached to amenities building, but this is not a problem in the summer.

We plan to stay here in the future.

Due to Covid 19 the resort did curbside check in which was fast and simple. The unit was clean but is older. We had 1 king bed and a second room with twin beds. My biggest complaint was that the beds were hard. Master had a nice jacuzzi tub while the second bath had a shower. It is an older resort and could stand to have some updating like new carpets. It was also a bit noisy. On the good side there were gas grills and picnic tables outside for use and each unit had a balcony with table and chairs. Also in unit washer and dryer.
The very best thing about this resort was it's location and the pool

The pool was my granddaughter's favorite place to be. While there is both an outdoor and indoor pool it's the indoor pool that the kids all loved. The indoor pool has a slide! There is also a smaller portion of the indoor pool designed for the younger set also with a slide and a huge hot tub. Great locker rooms as well.

The resort is located just a few minutes from Weir's Beach and the boardwalk however its set in a nice quiet area surrounded by trees. Sorry no water view. There are plenty of near by restaurants.

I am glad to hear you had an overall positive experience with us at the Summit Resort. It sounds like your unit was the perfect fit for your family’s vacation and you were able to enjoy some of the in-room amenities like the Jacuzzi tub and getting some fresh air from the balcony. It also sounds like you were able to venture offsite and explore the local offerings as well. I am sorry you did not find the beds comfortable; I will be sure to take this feedback into consideration during our future room updates and renovations. The pools are definitely a big hit at the resort and it sounds like you spent plenty of time in the indoor pool area relaxing while your granddaughter was able to enjoy the slides. Thank you for choosing the Summit Resort for your recent getaway. We hope to see you and your family again in the future!

We stayed he for a few days and really enjoyed the place. The resort offers several amenities which we took advantage of. The grounds were nice as well. After a long day of traveling and visiting several places we were able to go to the swimming pool area and enjoyed a nice swim and some time in the jacuzzi. The warm water was a perfect way to decompress from a long ride and walk. After soaking in the pool we felt refreshed. We also were able to take advantage of the workout room they had. The workout area was not that large but they had enough to get a decent workout while on vacation.
The rooms are a little dated but everything was clean and comfortable. We stayed in a room which could easily sleep 6. Two rooms, one with a full size bed, another with 2 twin beds and a sleeper couch where 2 more could sleep in. The room had a full kitchen which was good. We used it to warm up some leftovers and have breakfast in the morning. We also had the option of watching TV in the living room area or in our room. Oh let me not forget we had use of two bathrooms as well. I would have given them 5 stars if not only for the people staying on the second floor who seemed to be having a full court basketball game up there. From like 7:00PM to about midnight it sounded like they were having a scrimmage. Constantly running back and forth without stop. We called the office about 9:00PM and got no answer. Then we called the night security and no one answered as well. If not for that they would have gotten 5 stars.

We stayed May 2021 with a Groupon deal even though this resort is on our RCI list, Our room was on the bottom floor. Unit itself was nice, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms that have recently been renovated, nice kitchen, dining room and living room. Had a small patio, a picnic table with gas grill. Unfortunately the people in the room above us were hollering, yelling, fighting, stomping on the floor, dragging furniture across the floor, kids screaming and jumping on the floor.....at 1AM. That was unacceptable so I called the main number. They called the room but it only made it worse. The people got louder and jumped as hard as they could. After 15 minutes I called again and the manager came and told them to quiet down. They were quiet for a little while . I fell asleep in-between the quiet. There was no fantastic views, we didn't use the pool or any of the other amenities, all we wanted was peace and quiet to relax after surgery. When checking out, I reported the incident again and was given a gift card to a local restaurant.
We won't be back.

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at the Summit Resort. We are glad you chose to vacation with us and apologize that we did not fully meet your expectations. I am happy to see your perfect rating of 5/5 stars for our area of rooms and am glad that you found the cleanliness and service to be good as well. It is unfortunate to hear that the sound from surrounding guests hindered your experience here, even after our attempts to mitigate the noise speaking with them directly. We hope that you would reconsider a return visit where we will have a chance to offer you a better stay in the future.

There was only q few things that were negative. The king bed was hard as a rock and could use some more hooks to hang towels on. Other then that everything else was great. My family of 6 stayed here and we had enough room and didnt feel like we were on top of each other. Could hear the neighbors walking around but what place cant you? Any hotel I've ever stayed in you can hear the neighbors. It's a great place and has alot of stuff for kids to do. The pool area is amazing! My kids had a blast with the water slide. Anytime we needed anything the people at the front desk was there to help. Ashley was very friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone! It's great. Wish we would of find this place years ago. We take our kids to the nascar race every year and by far this year was the greatest and the kids had so much fun.

Thank you for choosing the Summit Resort for your recent vacation destination. It sounds like your family was able to enjoy the spacious accommodations and the amenities we offer including the heated indoor pool. I am happy to hear that you had pleasant interactions with our desk staff while you were onsite. I apologize the bed did not meet your comfort standards and for the lack of hooks available in your unit. We are regularly updating our accommodations with new furniture and design elements and I will be sure take you feedback into consideration for that process. We recently visited the Summit resort. We purchased through Groupon at Christmas time and is was a great deal. We stayed two night and were in building #3.
The pictures are very deceiving. I was very disappointed that all buildings are separate and not attached to the amenity center. Thus you have to either walk out in the cold or drive back and forth to the pool. I will say the pool was lovely, warm water and very clean. The units are extremely old and in need of updates. Our unit had cigarette burn holes in the master bedroom rug and the slider in the living room was left partially repaired on the wall area. The bathrooms were clean. The additional bedroom is very small. The decks and stairways leading up to the units are very old and in need of paint or replacement. We went one night down to the amenity center to play a few games with the children. Couldn’t even play pool as the pool table was missing some of the balls. Staff told us people have been taking them.. The staff were young kids but they tried their best to be friendly and helpful.
Wouldn’t go back and wouldn’t recommend this resort.

This was my first stay i the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. In one week, I saw the beautiful leaf colors, leaves falling, and on my last day, everything covered with snow! The area is beautiful, with plenty of rail-to-trail hiking opportunities. My stay was the last week of October; I had just missed the "open season" as many restaurants and places of interest were already closed. My husband and I still had a wonderful time.
