Lovely property in a fairy tale village the size of a thimble. Don't worry...there's great exploring to do in the area. The Inn itself is beautiful--spacious rooms (with the very best bed), good breakfast and accommodating, professional staff. Would definitely recommend a stopover if you are in the vicinity.

We arrived at the Lyme Inn just after a big end of winter snow storm. Staying at the Inn was magical! Penny at the front desk was wonderful and even allowed us to get into our beautiful room a little early. One night I was soooo hungry at 9:00 so my husband went down to the bar to get us...

Gorgeous bath, king size bed, fireplace and more. The lounge/restaurant had the best margaritas and the food was wonderful. Can't say enough about this place. I would...

My husband and I spent one night at the Lyme Inn. Upon arrival, we were given a free upgrade to a junior suite, room #25. The room was beautiful with everything we could need. It was quiet and very comfortable. We had dinner downstairs in front of the fire. The room included breakfast in the sun room. The food was...

The Lyme Inn is enormously charming. Our beautiful room overlooked the snow filled town green, which has a lovely white church on the corner. We had an electric fireplace in the room which was very cozy and welcoming. The bathroom was enormous and seemed brand new. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great in a very pretty...

We had a very short stay (9 hours to be exact) but it was lovely! Highly recommend. Room 24 was beautifully decorated. The marble bathroom was very impressive and the bed was extremely comfortable. Staff member Elizabeth was very friendly and arranged a breakfast to go since we had to leave quite early. The restaurant, wine room and patio were...
