Excellent menu with everything made to order. The quinoa burger is among the best I've had. Dave makes delicious soups from scratch. Alex is an awesome mixologist. Mike prepares an amazing brunch on Sunday, made extra special by Doc, a master guitarist. We stayed in a cozy room with a comfortable bed and a rain shower in the retro bathroom.... More

We have been going to the Woodbound Inn for years, and we love it.We stay in a cabin by the lake so quiet and soothing. The food is great, and the staff is very cordial. We also stayed at the main building so antique and lovely. The cabins are cool even in the summer . No AC but still cool. Keep up... More

Sadly the menu has changed and there limited options for my diet. They wanted to charge me $2 for slices of avacado. I wasn't even getting the bun:) of course it's the principle. An avacado at the store is not $2. anyhow can't eat here till next season.

My wife and I paid a lot of money to stay in the cabin. We weren't expecting much, but we do expect some sort of cleaning. Sadly, the entire place was dirty (trash left behind, screens on the floor, food crumbs, etc.). With that aside, we were hoping to make a fire in the fireplace to relax. We didn't have... More

We had our wedding at the Woodbound Inn at the beginning of September. Our friends and family took over the Inn for the entire weekend and we had three big night events - a thirty-person dinner in the Playbarn, a rehearsal dinner for 120 people in the ballroom and our wedding reception for 150 people in a rented tent on... Three nights over Labor Day Weekend 2016 for an on-site wedding celebration. While the bed in our lodge room could have been a bit more comfortable (maybe even replaced), the food all weekend long, including for 170+ people at the reception was fabulous, and most importantly, the staff was friendly, incredibly helpful/accommodating, and went the extra mile every step of... Arrived at 12:30 and was told room would be ready in 30 minutes. Room was not ready until after 3. Bed was sloppily made with no dust ruffle, no mirror in the room, a basket of goodies in a greasy napkin, dirty floor, dusty furniture, horrible towels...

Woodbound Inn is a fantastic place to disconnect from our busy life and reconnect with our kids. We have taken our vacation here 3 out of the last 4 years. The property consists of an inn, lodge (updated last year) cabins (scheduled for updates this coming year) a beach area and plenty of green space to play on. The Grove... More

The Woodbound is a wonderful property and staffed by even more amazing people! My friend and I stayed here for a night before a camping trip at Mount Monadnock for the Perseides meteor showers. Upon arriving we found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful, arranging for kayak rentals even though we were near the end of the day... More
