We've stayed here a few times in the past with a group. It's basically a flop house in the off-season, and it was adequate for that purpose. This year, we booked the room, arrived, were checked in by people I had not seen in the...More

This hotel was basically a one-nighter on the way to Bar Harbor.
It was convenient right off the highway but we had to park in the front and our room was through a breezeway. It led into the back of the hotel which was very...More

Hi, I always use my Barclaycard abroad, never use my UK switch card. As I book next day's hotel from today's hotel I give my credit card number but they are always happy to take cash if you want when you arrive & cancel the card number. I also carry the 'cash card' now. Load it with dollars (or other currency wherever you go), everywhere accepted it, you get 2 cards & 2 pin numbers, if you lose one, just use other. Its brilliant, not got bank details on or your name, no one can clone it.
