We were up here for fall leaf peeping season. We found it at the bottom of a steep residential hill. The first night I believe we were the only guests in the place so it was very quiet and a restful spot to be savored out in the country. The breakfast was really quite good and expansive--far better than what...

We had an overnight stay here. Could not fault room and location. Would definitely return for a longer break. Short drive in to Sunapee and great walks to be taken by the river. Would recommend the Anchorage restaurant and a visit to the Museum.

We just stayed one weekend night. There is a pool and breakfast was included. The motel does not have air conditioning, but it was cooler at night and there was a fan in the window. The breakfast has a nice pancake machine, better than any other pancake machine and all you do is press a button and out come two...

We stayed again this year for two nights during the LNHC Fair. Rick was friendly as usual and the rooms were clean. He offers pancakes, hard boiled eggs, bagels, fruit and coffee. I opted for a full breakfast elsewhere, but Rick told me to take a bagel for later. Will be back again next year. Price is competitive with others...

After traveling from NYC in heavy traf4ic, and numerous delays my husband and I 4inally arrived at the Burkehaven Lodge in Sunapee. Although it took us seven hours we made it by 8:30 PM. Phew! It was rough traveling through the mountains in darkness but we persevered because we wanted to attend the craft show the following day and meet...

This is our third summer staying at the Burkehaven. We book at least a couple weekends each summer. From time to time there has been no availability, but the owner, Rick, gladly calls me if any openings develop. The rooms are a good size and all have a fridge, a microwave and a coffee maker (ther is also hot coffee...

Sadly this was not a good experience from the outset. We arrived tired after a 10 hour drive and the owner very reluctantly gave us a cup of milk for us to make a cup of tea. Customer service was non existent, no welcome, just a demand for payment. There was no air conditioning so the rooms were very hot...

I would look for other accommodations in the area. We rented a room the first week in August, my wife and I (we are mid-late 50's) & used the room for overflow from our house on Lake Sunapee. On the second to last day a friend visited us for the day and parked in the parking lot. While we were...

Your mother graciously paid for your accommodations. She is a very nice woman who I have known for years. We were happy to help her because she was very excited to have her estranged family finally visit. On the day you are referring to, you parked four cars in front of someone else's room. I called your mother and she...

A great spot for our visit to see the beautiful fall foliage & visit friends in the area. We've stayed here several times & enjoy it immensely. It is very clean & comfortable, & extremely quiet & peaceful. The owners are extremely nice, & helpful. Not sure where these negative reviews are coming from, maybe people looking for more of...

Great place very comfortable second floor condo plenty of room for the three couples and two children. This was the coldest weekend in years minus 34 degrees at Mt Sunapee. Because of this Mt vehicle would not start Rick the owner tried his jumpers then pulled out his charger to finally get me going. Rick was very pleasant and accommodating...
