Dragonflies is an extremely comfortable B and B in the quiet hamlet of North Sutton, with superb views over Kezar Lake. We were looking for a B and B that allowed us to explore Southern New Hampshire plus easy access to Boston Airport for our return flight. On arrival we were warmly met by the owners, Christine and Iain, and...

Chris & Ian operate a first class B&B in an idyllic lakeside setting. Everything you want in a peaceful visit away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The breakfast was delicious and the setting couldn't be beat!

I can't say enough about this B&B. From the breathtaking scenery to the amazing people we are just itching to get back. Situated perfectly on the most peaceful kezar lake. Oh and the food... Come hungry because she is an amazing cook. The room was comfortable and had a beautiful view. Look no further, this B&B can't be beat!

Very comfortable and spacious accommodation on the lake edge with beautiful views. Delightful hosts, Christine and Ian, made us feel most welcome in their lovely home. As we arrived late in the day we asked for a dinner recommendation. Christine kindly booked a restaurant nearby where we had a wonderful meal. My girlfriend, my mom, and I stayed at the Dragonflies B & B during the long Labour Day weekend. We rented both rooms. This is truly a wonderful place. The innkeepers, Christine and Iain, are such welcoming and warm individuals. They made us feel so comfortable. Although we are used to going to many B&Bs and are used to friendly...

One of the best B&B have ever been to! Iaan and Christine, a most wonderful and enjoyable couple and gracious hosts, have a beautiful home on Kezar Lake in the quaint little town of North Sutton. My wife and I stayed 3 nights with our two children (14&21) and felt like we were at home! The accommodations excellent, the good...

Travelers more effusive than I have already extolled the virtues of Dragonflies: the delicious and imaginative breakfasts; the warmth and kindness of Chris and Iain; the joys of listening to Iain play the piano; the lovely gardens and very appealing small lake; the pleasures of spending time with two intelligent and very amusing conversationalists, etc., etc. So, I’ll move on...

Fabulous attention to detail - it's the little things that count. Very comfortable large bedroom, amazing breakfasts, very entertaining hosts. On Kezar lake - sit at on the private pier or if weather permits take a float in the boat.

We knew of these people and their small, intimate, tastefully detailed, handsome but not pretentious, bed and breakfast residence, sitting nested at the edge of Kezar Lake, but had never stayed.. This venue is not for everyone. Some of us just want a 'plain vanilla',place 'crash' while journeying through NH or local for a ski trip, wedding, summer respite etc....

Lee and Kitty Hagglund If you are planning to spend a night anywhere in a 30 mile radius of North Sutton, NH you're crazy if you don't seek out this beautiful lakeside B&B. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed with views of Lake Kezar. The hosts, Iain and Christine, are a transplanted English couple with all of what that implies...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In 2000, Christine and Iain Gilmour focused their skills and 40 years of hospitality experience on a lakeside cottage in New Hampshire, where just a few guests can anticipate warmth, comfort, two beautiful cats, music, art and, in a word -- serenity. Lipkissing the shore of Kezar Lake at the center of North Sutton, Dragonflies B&Bis less than five minutes drive from Interstate 89, but far enough, surrounded by trees and flowers, to replace traffic noise with daily birdsongs and seasonal evenings accompanied by mass choruses from tree-frogs. Although there is Wi-fi access for computer-oriented guests, the bigger decision at Dragonflies will be where to have breakfast. (Dependent on weather and temperature, breakfast could be in a cosy dining room, on a screened porch or on an open-air flagstoned patio overlooking the lake.) Take your choice from surrounding towns to browse, select a restaurant for lunch or dinner, kayak on the lake, swim in the lake, or walk the 3-mile circumference of the lake. On appropriate evenings, Chris and Iain may invite guests to join them for a sunset cruise on The Duchess, their pontoon boat. There are just two guest bedrooms on Dragonflies’ first floor, both with southern lake views and private bathrooms. SunRise has two queen size beds, SunSet has one king size bed. Evenings, Iain often plays classical music on the grand piano lulling you to sleep with dreams of Chris’s renowned breakfasts. ... more   less
