Totally agree with the review by semery03. We rented three lakeside cabins next to each other and were with four adults and three children. We are used to luxury hotels and this was rustic. No air-conditioning, no oven, microwave or dishwasher, to TV or WiFi, a small bathroom with walk in shower….BUT….steps away from a sandy beach with an easy... More

Pros- 3 beaches, free kayak and canoe rentals, water trampoline, huge deck overlooking the lake, cabin was older but was clean, community bonfire on weekend. Cons- Website listed power boat rentals but didn't state that you have to go off site for this, no wifi or tv in any of the cabins, game room had a padlock on the door... More

Let me start by saying that I went here as a kid 25 years ago. We were looking for a nostalgic family vacation and thought this would be a great place to go. 25 years ago, this place was old and extremely "rustic"...and nothing has changed. We stayed in The Trapp House, which was something out of a 1940's horror... More

If you are looking for a peaceful throwback to a time long past - where bonfires light the night, kids swim until bed time (or sun set, whichever comes first), where a box fan lulls you to sleep after a grilled diner and sunset drinks with friends.....then this the pace for you. Enjoy the rustic cabins complete with full kitchen.... More

Wanted to stay somewhere on Lakes Winnisquam, and this place was right next door to where I used to stay with my family when I was a kid. GOOD STUFF: 3 Beaches, especially the one that was sandy; allows dogs; kitchenette with full-size fridge; utensils, pots and pans, dishes, mugs, paper towels, sponge and soap provided for kitchen; clean sheets,... We had our daughter's Bohemian wedding there in June. The property was exactly what we were looking for. The cabins are rustic. Very clean and cozy. The managers Angela and Jim were great to work with, very accommodating. We rented the entire campground and everything went better than imagined! It's a great place for couples, families, and friends. We would... More

The cabins are a perfect place to stay with just two people or a whole group. The service was excellent and friendly. Being right next to the lake was incredible! We highly recommend this to all. We would stay here again.

Fun relaxing quiet when we went. Cabins not bad # 8 was cozy and good for a lot of people loved that we could crank the heat and had a screened in porch. Caught some fish off the dock. Beach is in nice. Canoes could be better though kinda tipsy but kayaks were great.

They sure know how to make it look good online. Got to the cabin and I felt like I walked into my great-grandmothers house which is dated to the early 70's.
