Rustic charm in a lovely home in a quaint little town. And more -- chef quality breakfast that beats anything I've had in recent months. Choices of homemade muffins, crepes, waffles, pancakes, and eggs with assorted vegetables and fruit. Thanks for a scrumptious time!

My Husband and I stayed at the Wilderness Inn in the Bungalow for our honey moon and it was a wonderful experience! Our separate cabin was cozy and very clean. Owners were welcoming and extremely helpful. The complimentary breakfast was amazing. Can't wait to go back!

We stayed over for two nights. The rooms were clean and comfortable with everything you could need. The guest reception area downstairs has a lovely fire and is a comfortable place to sit and.chat with friends. Owners are great and make you feel right at home. The home cooked breakfast is exceptionally good.

Karen and Alan were gracious hosts with delicious breakfasts and helpful advice Warm and cozy in subzero weather. Great place to visit any time of year. We stay there as a group, and enjoyed lots of fun times in the common area.

OMG this was our best accidental lodging ever!! I booked cheapest room and had a double bed with everything wonderful but def. talk to Karen for queen bed with tub and jacuzzi arrangements! Love love Craftsman era decor, wonderful gas stove and tons of games even though the wifi is free. Alan and Karen had the most amazing breakfast I've...

Spent three lovely nights while skiing at Loon Mountain. Cannon and Bretton Woods also nearby. Rooms comfortable, clean, well-appointed - everything you need and if it weren't there, the innkeepers would get it for you. Cozy living room with fireplace and games - perfect place to have a scotch after a day on the slopes and to read in the...

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Wilderness B&B on a Saturday night a few weekends ago. We traveled up to NH from CT for a quick weekend getaway, and this B&B served as the perfect spot. This was our first time staying at a B&B, so I wasn't too sure what to expect. When we walked in, there was...

I hate to write anything negative because the owners are so nice. So this may just be a matter of taste. Or maybe I have stayed at too many chain hotels and have forgotten what it's like to stay in an inn. The breakfast was awesome. Wonderful fresh fruit, awesome pancakes, real maple syrup.Downsides: beds weren't very comfortable, bathroom was...

Thank you for your input. We cannot improve with out it. The Inn is a 1912 historic craftsman style B&B with the original architecture that we are very proud of. And it has rooms on the bottom floor as well as a Bungalow.

This is a very charming and comfortable inn. If you are looking for high end or modern style and accoutrements, this is not for you. But if you want to be warmly welcomed by wonderful innkeepers, have a clean and comfortable room with a good bed, nice bathroom, TV and excellent wifi; and a terrific individually prepared breakfast; and a...

Was surprised with a snowy weekend getaway and was thrilled! The hosts were so warm and welcoming. We stayed in the bungalow and it was perfect for a couple getting some much needed time away. The breakfast was fantastic and we were walking distance to some pubs and restaurants'. We were referred to The Gypsy Café and were blown away....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to The Wilderness Inn Bed and Breakfast, a 1910 Craftsman Style lodge in the heart of the White Mountains. We are ideally located close to Franconia Notch State Park, The Flume Gorge, The Lost River, Loon and Cannon Mountain ski areas, the Kancamagus Highway, and within a scenic drive to Mount Washinton and Squam Lake. Our favorite aspect of innkeeping is sharing information about our beautiful area. We are glad to talk extensively with our guests about the best places to hike, bike, canoe, swim, fish, and ski. We have numerous books about the local area in our living room that you may peruse as you sit by the gas fireplace enjoying your evening libations. The highlight at our Inn is our "cooked to order" breakfast which includes a starter of juice, fresh fruit salad, and Chef Alan's freshly baked muffins of the day; followed by your choice of Eggs Your Way, Omelets with your choice of vegetables, bacon morsels, and/or cheeses, French Toast with Fruit Compote of the day, Crepes made with fresh fruit, or House Recipe Pancakes served with 100% pure maple syrup as well as our homemade apple and cranberry syrups. All seven rooms/suites and the cottage have private baths, three have jetted tubs, and two have gas fireplaces also. Complementary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are available anytime during the day. We hope to welcome you soon to our home. We are Alan and Karen Trudell: New Owners with a New Vision. ... more   less
