Room was very small, but very neat and clean. The bed was fabulous. For a week end away was everything we needed. walking distance to everywhere Would ask for a larger room if we were staying longer. I would go back in a heartbeat !

The building itself is nice and the staff is friendly and accommodating. We were able to change our dates the week of our stay without incurring the $93 penalty, just had to pay the price difference to upgrade. The deluxe room was ok, a bit small and musty. Count your towels before you need them, we were short a washcloth.... More

Our room was very small but nice. There is no parking at this hotel site so you must park on the street which is a hit and miss at best. There in no elevator either. The breakfast they serve is not bad for the price. (free) I though it was overpriced for the amount we had paid. The hotel staff... More

This was our second time to the Hotel Alcott. We visited last year around the same time and enjoyed our weekend so much both times. The Hotel is very elegant and makes you feel right at home. We were greeted by Sandy at the front desk both times. By the time we checked out on our last visit, I felt... More

We were recommended to try the Hotel Alcott Brunch. What a great place the regal hotel Alcott presented. We walked in to the brunch room and totally went back in time. Linen table clothes and napkins, long lovely wood floors, chef and staff members proudly showing and inviting us to taste the wonderful foods they prepared. I enjoyed the talking... More

We loved the Hotel Alcott! Such a pretty hotel, such a clean room with a lovely lobby and very sweet porch and patio... Breakfast was minimal with bagels, cereal, juice and coffee but we would definitely return to this gem in Cape May!

This is a nice, elegant hotel at a pretty good price for Cape May. I only have one real complaint and in the context of our entire week's experience it's really pretty minor. However, it would be easy to fix and would improve the quality of breakfast enormously! Breakfast comes with the room, and it's nothing special, no hot items... More

My mother, adult daughter and I just got back from our weekend at Cape May and our stay at the Hotel Alcott. We LOVED the hotel in every way. It is old and quaint yet large compared to other B&B's in the area. So while it was friendly and warm, we also did not feel like we were living with... More

We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Alcott. What we also liked was the continental breakfast. Everyone that worked there were very nice. The only thing that we didn't expect was the minimum two night stay.

Do not expect room service or refrigerators, microwaves, or coffeepots in your rooms. I was told there would be FREE parking a block away in a parking lot. Not the case, it was 7 blocks away. There is free street parking about 2 blocks away if you are lucky enough to find a spot. If you do find a spot... More
