Stayed four nights, arrived at 10:30 am and was told our room would be ready for 12:00 noon which at the height of season was fantastic. We were given a parking ticket for the lot and went to the beach. Check in was quik at noon and each morning the room was made up as we ate breakfast! Service was...

We loved this bueatiful victorian hotel. It had a wonderful vibe, staff, and it was like a fairy tale. Definitely recommended to all travelers for it's location and charm. Reasonable prices and trustworthy, happy staff and people. fun for the whole family and all ages. I love that this town is supportive of family businesses!!!

Have just returned from a trip around New jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania, Hotel Macomber was where we spent our first night. Reception on arrival was nice although the lady on the front desk did not know a great deal about bars/restaurants in the area but she was nice enough. There are no lifts in the hotel so be prepared for...

There was no hot water all weekend. We turned on the shower and there was only tepid water after 5 minutes (no exageration!) and then only warm water after 10 minutes. We were told "Oh, there is hot water. You just have to jiggle the handle." No other response. The rooms are sweet, very old and slope at an angle...

Our wedding was in Cape May and we had our out of town guests stay here The staff was incredibly accomodating... they delivered my welcome boxes to the guests rooms, called me ahead of time to make sure they knew which hotel guests were with my party, to ensure that everything was perfect. They made us feel at home in...

We recently got married at the Hotel Macomber. I was at first disappointed when it rained on my wedding day since my plan was to have a beach ceremony. However, the wonderful managers at the Hotel Macomber made it a beautiful indoor experience. The ceremony was lovely in their Victorian lobby with an arbor to stand under and a rose...

We visited this hotel for a fall get away. First we chose the Ghost tour package. I explained that we had other plans and we wanted to do the tour Friday night. Then we wanted dinner (part of the package $70 credit) on Saturday night. I also mentioned being off season could we get a nice room. To all questions,...

I have to say that these were the rudest people I have ever dealt with in Cape May. When I did the online reservations, it allows you to pick your exact room out by number. I specifically choose two lower level standard rooms. One room was listed as having a large shower and the other room had a private bath...

I've stayed there several times, and it is always easy. The staff is pleasant, rooms are clean, and the atmosphere is warm. It's at the far end of the boardwalk, but it's easy to walk around in Cape May. The rates are good, but you won't get a pool or elevator--but it does have an old fashioned charm. There is...
