We stayed here for an extended weekend getaway. Not knowing what to expect, we were delighted to see it's a nice clean efficiency. I read reviews before booking our stay here and from what I understand the first floor rooms are a bit small. The room was fine, plenty of walking space. I did have issues with the TV in...

Dear vacasRus, We are pleased to read that you enjoyed your stay in the main building of the Star Inn. The location cannot be beat whether you're visiting Cape May for the shops on Washington Street or the beach which is on the same block as the Star. All of the amenities across the street at Congress Hall are extended...

The location is second to none and the amenities at this place are the reasons we keep coming back. The proximity to restaurants and the beach are great. The rooms are the ground floor has outdoor patio which is serves as a great eating area if you are dining in. I recommend this place if traveling with small children. The...

Room was so small you could barely walk around it. Bathroom a definite add-on with micro sink, shower you can't even turn around in and toilet sticks out so you can't stand in front of the sink or mirror. Maybe it was just this room that they stuck me with. Absolutely do not accept room#1 in the Inn. Horrible! They...

Dear PamG1313, We are very sorry to hear that you found your stay at the Star Inn to be disappointing. The guestrooms in the main building of the Star Inn vary in size and Room 01 is considered one of our "value rooms" as it is on the smaller size and is very cozy. All guests staying at the Star...

Stayed here one night over Thanksgiving weekend. The hotel and the town itself was already decked out for the holidays and made this beach town feel extra charming and cozy. We stayed at the Star Inn, which is across from the Congress Hall hotel and 1 block away from the beach and 1 block away from Washington street, which is...

This place was great! The location is phenomenal, being only one block away from the Washington Street Mall, the beach, Uncle Bill's Pancake House, bars, and Congress Hall. It's also just a short drive to the Lighthouse. We visited for our anniversary, and our room was in the Inn. It was a tiny Inn, and small room, but it had...

The hotel seems to be 3 buildings: a majestic, large old building, a typical rooming-house type building (perhaps with 12 rooms) and a motel-like building. Find out where you are when you book! We were in the rooming-house type building; the room was too small and somewhat rundown. But the breakfast in the main building was fine, but again, a...

Just opposite from (and belonging to) the Congress Hall hotel, this little inn, is conveniently located close to the sea. Our room, was actually a 2 room studio on the 2nd floor, with a very spacious bedroom and another room with kitchenette, sofa bed etc. Nice porch to sit and have a read. Our room was very colourful and comfortable....
