Beautiful old hotel, maintained perfectly. Onsite shopping, restaurants and a great coffee shop. First class service; all employees I encountered were very nice. Walk to everything! Expensive in summer, so I will only visit off season.

This is an older hotel, but well kept and it gives the visitor a feeling of what life used to be long ago. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and well lit. They have been upgraded to modern standards with plenty of outlets, and include a small refrigerator discreetly hidden to accommodate guests. Our room had a lovely window...

Congress Hall is just so beautiful and so historical! I live In Cape May and visit often. There is so much to see and do. Especially on Holidays . It is located across the street from the beach and the view is spectaclar!!! There are Adirondack chairs facing the beach to just relax in or to have a great glass...

We stayed here the weekend prior to Christmas. This was a pricey hotel but a wonderful stay and experience. From the moment we arrived, we were delighted to see the amazing Christmas decorations, and warm fire as we entered the lobby. We then went to our room which was large and comfortable. The bathroom was very large as well with...

Celebrating 200 years this place is an absolute must to visit. With a restaurant and bar available take your pick they are all superb. The staff are very attentive and just love the little in house shops.

But Congress Hall is the best at Christmas! Have been coming in December for last three years and always leave with the Christmas spirit. The decorations and atmosphere is the perfect jump start for the Christmas season. It is now our tradition!

The first night during our stay our room was right over the bar and lounge where there was live music (which we totally would have been downstairs enjoying...

Excellent service, beach/ocean views, a 200 year history. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, in the center of the historic district. Went there for the holiday festival. Went mid-week to beat the weekend crowd.

We visited Cape May over the weekend for our annual Christmas Stroll. The town does a fantastic job decorating for the Holidays. We especially enjoy visiting Congress Hall. The hotel goes all out for Christmas complete with a kiddy train ride and an outdoor carousel. They have a nice coffee/hot chocolate shop and is convenient to the shopping area, plus...

Spent the weekend here during their holiday festival. The hotel and employees are very nice, but there is no public areas to sit or relax. The lobby and brown room were packed day and night. Just walking through was difficult at times. We had an ocean view room with a balcony, which was a total waste. You have to open...
