Very nice one-night stay in Room 4. The room is comfortable and big enough. We noticed some creaky and raspy noises, typical of what happens in old buildings, but they were not so loud as to bother our sleep. There are several bedrooms in this building with a nice common living room available for all to use with coffeemaker and... More

Attended an outdoor wedding ceremony and reception. You can't ask for a nicer rustic outdoor setting. The appy's were different from your normal and excellent. We had filet mignon and also the salmon and not sure which was better. Will soon return to dine in their tavern.

Formally an 1700's Moravian Gristmill, the Inn at Millrace Pond has a warm cozy ambiance with wonderful stonework and rustic modern furnishings. I had lunch downstairs in the tavern area. They also have a main dining area on the ground level. The tables are professionally set with a fine table cloth and folded napkins. They serve lunch from 11:30-5. When... More

Menu is interesting and well executed. Only issue we found was that enters came out a bit quick. I had acorn soup and short rib sauerbraten which were amazing. My husband had tomato fennel soup with crab and crispy chicken. We shared chocolate hazelnut dessert that was delicious.

Mill Room 5 is fantastic with a living room just outside the door. This is great in the off season when you will likely have the additional space to yourself. We brought in dinner and wine, and enjoyed our meal in "our" living room. Very comfortable and romantic. Especially when this happened . . . . Being September, it was... More

Stayed 2 nights as part of a wedding. The room was big with an old TV. Wifi didn't work in the room and barely worked in the main house. The water pressure in the shower wasn't great but the towels were soft and fluffy. The window A/C did not keep the room very cool, and it wasn't as hot as... More

Very romantic especially in the winter when the big fireplace is blazing. And the sound of the water and all the antiques -- cuddly and nice. The food is generally "American" -- chicken pot pie, that sort of thing. The service has always been very pleasant and nice, but we haven't always been very happy with the food. Good cleanliness,... A unique facility in mid-New Jersey. Great facility for small or large parties. Food quality and service was excellent. Rooms were period on the outside and modern interior. There was a major wedding held there Saturday night. They can handle most any function that you come up with and not in a big downtown setting, either.

The restaurant is lovely but we are going to have to try again when it isn't a holiday. The service was superb but the food was only mediocre. We were there for the first seating and they ran out of some desserts including chocolate cake (which all seemed to be store bought) and brough out donuts - not homemade either.... More

Stayed for two nights to attend a friend's wedding which was held on the property. The Inn was such a disappointment. We spent $368 for two nights at a really third rate location. Inside the room was a television from the early 1990's, slow Wi-Fi, a telephone from the 1980's, mediocre toiletries and a very bare bones room. Really overpriced... More
