We stayed for two nights with two small children. Everything was fine: Clean room, exeptable rate, simple breakfast (for german standards) and a friendly staff. No complaints, so far! It is just a short walk from the motel (through the mall) to the Hudson River where the ferry or the train takes you to Manhattan. I recommend the Ferry: It...

This motel was an excellent no frills place to stay while visiting New York City. My husband and I stayed 4 nights.....had originally planned to stay only 2 but after checking in decided it was very convenient to everything we wanted to do so extended our stay. First 2 nights reservations were made thru Expedia but the last 2 directly...

We have been there 25 years ago. We were very surprised, this time, about the modern and clean area it became. This hotel is perfect when you have kids. Very secure (security 24 hours/24), not expensive, very, very clean, breakfast included and the Holland Tunnel just in front. Also, a lot of pretty restaurants near by. So, it's a deal...

Needed to stay near New York due to a family illness and treatment is in New York. We can't afford New York prices for hotels and parking prices are rediculously expensive. We found this hotel through hotels.com and it is just what we needed. This hotel is inexpensive and gives a very nice breakfast for free. The rooms are very...

We just returned from a family vacation to NYC. Found out about this hotel through trip advisor, and I am so glad we did. This hotel is very clean and the staff was wonderful from the moment we walked in the door until we checked out. I read reviews about rooms being rented out hourly, we never saw any of...

I arrived at the hotel with my family just a tad earlier than the normal check-in time and the front desk staff happily accommodated my request for an early check-in (I have four small children, all of whom were tired and needed a place to nap.) The accommodations were WONDERFUL! We were on the tunnel side of the hotel and...

Visited this hotel since my family needed a place to stay near NYC while relatives from out of state came to visit. We planned to show them New york City for a weekend and then the Jersey Shore and the Casinos. This hotel was perfect for our weekend stay. Just outside New York and near the path train. Shopping and...

We weren't sure it would be a good idea to stay in NJ when our purpose was to visit Manhattan, but the experience turned out to be great. Walking to the PATH train takes about 10 minutes from this hotel, so overall it takes about 20 to 30 minutes to get to Manhattan from here. It's only about 1 mile...

Late at night they rent rooms by the hour to PROSTITUTES and DRUG users. In the space of 30 minutes I saw them rent 3 hourly rooms to seedy men and their female companions. Then a strung out looking person came stumbling out. Upon check-in I thought I had found the ideal NYC hotel. 3 blocks from the train to...
