It is always nice to find a bed and breakfast that you find all the elements work in harmony. This is one! Lovely hosts who have travelled the world and know how to treat their guests. Our room had a double sided fireplace, very comfortable bed and all the amenities you need. Breakfast-bananas foster sans rum, broccoli quiche and much...

We have stayed at many B&B's and we prefer them to conventional hotels/motels. The Wooden Duck is our favorite because we really enjoy the warm hospitality of the inkeepers, the breakfasts are absolutely delicious, and the inn is spotlessly clean. The common areas are warm and inviting and you always feel right at home. We can't wait to go back...

we were looking for a weekend retreat after a tough couple of months and we could not have found a better place to stay. The Wooden Duck is lovely, immaculately clean, the breakfasts were wonderful, the 'extras' (great chocolate cookies in the guest kitchen) and the kindness and graciousness of the hosts, not to mention the peace and ambience, made...

Spent 3 days with the folks at the Wooden Duck with the ladies in my wedding party and then new husband. We stayed in the Bufflehead room which was pure decadence. A big bed, big bathtub and cozy fireplace. The rooms and facility were immaculate, well appointed and Carol the maid was fantastic. Inn keepers Karl and Beth are magic....

Wow! I have to agree with most of the other reviewers. The Wooden Duck Inn is a real treasure. Forget about the property, the idyllic location, the abundance of nearby activities in the New Jersey Skylands region. This is about the innkeepers, Karl and Beth. We have never experienced the kind of treatment that we did at the Wooden Duck...

We spent 4 nights at the Duck in August and found the grounds and hospitality to be great. Breakfast was also great. When we returned to our room after breakfast our room we tydied up and beds were made. Special kudos to Jim who went out of his way to return an article I had left behind.

We have been staying in B&Bs for over 15 years now and the Wooden Duck is far and away our number one choice in New Jersey. I can't even think of one thing that I would change about the place...the food, the location, the company, the friendliness just proves that B&Bs are a treasure I hope we never loose. You...

My husband & I visited this B & B for our anniversary. We were met by Trina and Jim who are great innkeepers. Jim is a kind of clown and that's what makes him special but he is right on the money when he is "playing" serious. If you need a restaurant, just ask them, they won't steer your wrong....

As a business traveler who spends over 100 nights a year in hotels and bnbs, the Duck is the best. I have stayed here many times over the past year. The peace and quiet is wonderful, the hosts are friendly and very accommodating of requests. The breakfast is the best I have had anywhere, including fancy hotels. The rooms are...

My husband and I live in New Zealand though I am from NJ originally. My parents are still in the area and while we were back visiting them, they offered to take care of their 1 year old grandson and treat us to a stay at the Wooden Duck. The Wooden Duck was the perfect setting for our first nights...
