We enjoyed our stay a lot, were only sad that we could stay only one night there, although booking 11 months in advance. The Rondavel was simple, rustic, a bit on the used side, but clean with comfy beds and without uninvited wildlife Inside. The highlight is the porch close to the floodlight water hole. We realized when we left...

We stayed in a rondawel that had a perfect view of the watering hole. As soon as we arrived there were elephants hanging around and one night we saw a black Rhino. The room was comfortable but the stove in the communal kitchen extremely slow to heat up (and didnt get very hot). Unfortunately we booked a sunrise and sunset...

Stayed in chalet 30, a 2/4. Beautiful views and game viewing from the patio. Everything you need, clean and a lovely hot shower. My only complaint was the fridge that was making so much noise that we couldn't hear the hyenas at night! The flood lit water hole was wonderful even though we saw nothing after dark. Elephants and buffalo...

We stayed in one of the family bungalows which has a double bed and a sleeper couch. The kitchen is reasonably equipped, but the bathroom really needed a good clean and some more maintenance. The stoep is the best spot to sit out, watch the bush, and enjoy a braai or breakfast. Overall the units are decent, but lacking in...

We went during the quieter period of the year (July). It was very quiet and the camp site was quite empty which provided us with enough privacy. I could imagine it could get quite busy during the holiday seasons so keep this in mind when travelling. We also experienced small animals roaming in our campsite which was quite nice.

Matyholweni was very nice inside, very quiet and nice place to get rest. The views were of trees/plant in a valley. Not the best view if you are looking for watching wild life from your deck. You are not able to sit and eat on the deck - aggressive Vervet monkeys. We preferred the Main Camp cottages due to the...

Cottages are functional but adequately comfortable and, as with just about everywhere we stayed, a great large firm bed. Not especially well maintained - the cooking ring wouldn't get hot enough to keep a boiling pan of water hot for a boiled egg and one of the balcony chairs was broken, in a dangerous sort of way. OK, the cooking...

I stayed here with the Trek South Africa team as part of our project and we really enjoyed our stay. The game viewing in this area is incredible! There are so many elephants that come so close to the game vehicles, it's really mind blowing to get to experience them at such a close proximity. The accommodation units are neat...

Addo rest camp was the first camp that we stayed at in South Africa and we were impressed with the accommodation and the camp facilities. Our bungalow was very clean, it was well maintained and the kitchen was well equipped. Outside, there was a spacious balcony that had views of the park - Warthogs, Kudos wandered passed and lots of...

We arrived by plane in Port Elizabeth and drove to the Addo park. We had a Wild card costing 3050Rand for a year. Check in was easy and drove about 400 metres to our previous booked cabin. Wonderful accommodation. We booked a night drive and joined a group of about 10 people in a kind of lorry that had gradually...
