Fantastic position by the beach. Clean and comfortable apartment. During our stay there was a day long power cut and the owners went out of their way to assist us. We were invited to a family braai and they supplied us with a back up camping stove and candles.
Both the owners have been tour guides and so they are a mine of information about South Africa.

Our family stayed extended our stay at Seester after the first night. We were looking for a beach break from our long term travelling and this was just what the doctor ordered. Hilde made us feel like we were home. Our flat was clean, neat, homely and the front dune on the beach was beautifully manicured for the children to play. We loved walking to super tubes each morning and the children loved "fishing" in the rocks. This guesthouse is perfectly positioned We also cooked our first Brai. Love, love, loved it!

Our family stayed over at Seester Standhuis for a week and enjoyed every minute of it - we left the cold Western Cape to enjoy the pleasant weather of Jeffreys Bay. The apartment was clean and neat and we had a wonderful view of the beach. We are going to miss the early morning walks on the beach and shell collecting! This was great fun for the whole family. I would strongly recommend Seester Standhuis to anyone wishing to have a relaxing holiday with all the home comforts that one is used to. Thanks again to Hilde and her Husband. We will definately be back!

Room was a good size, clean & had everything you needed. Room situated above a garage & a tenant below. Steep wooden stairs. It has an over-the-bath-shower & taps are difficult to reach as the splash screen is glued to the bath. Toilet makes a terrible noise when you flush & people next door can hear it (the owners daughter said it's because the flat is upstairs) There is a door btwn main bedrooms headboard & the room next door (hidden by a wall rug) & you can hear everything if they are in their bedroom. You can also hear the tenant bellow's TV. If you are security conscious there is no security on the sliding door to the flat apart from a normal lock. Main gate takes ages to close & no sign to say that tenants must wait for it to close. No allocated parking. No signs in front of garage doors to say you can't park there. The owner didn't ask us to move our car, he pointed to a sign he had written to put on our car, he didn't even introduce himself, rude. The TV had no sound. No sea view.

My 18 year old daughter and I stayed at Seester Strandhuis for 10 days during March 2013. We loved it! The apartment was clean, beautiful and had a view of the sea! We loved the artwork, quilts and wall hangings that Hilde makes and uses to decorate!
This was my first time traveling internationally with just my daughter (no other adults) and Hilde and Zdenek were so kind and helpful. They told us al we needed to know to get about town and have a wonderful holiday!
Jeffrey's Bay is beautiful. We enjoyed surfing, horse back riding, shelling, watching surfers at Super Tubes. We even found a great church: Victory Christian Center, where we enjoyed Sunday worship!
