We visited the resort this past weekend and our first evening (Friday) was lovely. The 6 sleeper chalet was well equipped and neat. Saturday however people arrived at the two chalets opposite us. From the moment they got there, the noise levels shot through the roof. People were pouring out the houses (which I assume was only meant to house...

Hi BooTaz, Thank you for making time to review our Resort. It is such a inconvenience when people do not take others into consideration. We do our best to control noise and will take up the matter with our outsourced security company. I do hope you return for a more peaceful stay in future. Regards, Adriaan

The venue is excellent and very clean and tidy. The whole experience was spoilt when we arrived and guard at gate would not allow us in before paying - the full amount was paid weeks in advance, but records did not reflect this. It took a long time for them to sort it out - was dark when we were...

We are a family of 5 and camped for 4 nights at Gariep Dam Forever Resort. There were no issues or delays with check in and the overall look of the campsites were inviting with many shady, tree-lined sites. The effect of the drought was evident though as the grass sites were yellow and the dam was at a very...

Dear Liezl W, Thank you for submitting a comprehensive overview. I must say the drought is a sore eye but luckily things are changing and we are thankful for the just more than 100mm of rain we received during the season. We are proud to say we have planted 384 trees this past year and will continue doing so. I...

Dear Louise R, Thank you for making time to review our beautiful Resort. It is quite fascinating seeing 80+ "braai's" lit, with smoke above the tree canopy's making it look as if there is a fire somewhere on the Resort! Great to hear that you are making use of all the facilities, entertainment and activities. Travel safe and we hope...

Had a lovely time relaxing by the pool and the properly was well maintained. The prices in the shop by the pool were very reasonable. Great views of the dam and we really enjoyed the cruise to the dam wall. I would definitely like to go back and visit again when passing through.
