We stayed the second time and again, we enjoyed the stay very much!
We now got to enjoy the third different room and must say that we feel comfortable in any of them. Not too big, but nice decorated and just enough for a stay...More
Stayed here for two nights and could not have been any happier. We had a very comfortable and spacious room, enjoyed a great breakfast and were well taken care of by James, the owner/manager. He is very happy to make recommendations for visits, wine tasting...More
Excellent accommodation and James the host looks after you very well. Facilities leaves nothing to be desired; breakfast superb with attentive staff. Franschhoek is a delightful village in the wine lands and this is an excellent spot to stay.

Hi, There is uber in the village though I am not familiar with its use in the evenings. We have a several local taxi companies that charge a moderate fee for short trips. Currently the fee is about R240 return for distances up to about 3 km. Uber would be cheaper if available. Consider though the wine tram for a days wine tasting. At R220.00 per person for the whole days transport, it is by far the least expensive way of getting around. We are very central to all village restaurants, and a 5 minute walk on average would get you to at least 4 of the best restaurants. Tuk Tuk micro brewery is just 120 metres up from us as well.
