My boyfriend, my sister and her husband all stayed here recently as we were attending a wedding at Vrede En Lust, just down the road. We all absolutely loved it and were so sad we were only staying 2 nights! The staff were great on arrival, greeting us with a welcome drink and quick tour of the hotel and it's... More

We have just attended a family wedding at Angala this weekend. It is a beautiful, intimate, very well set out and manicured environment. The Angala team made sure that every need of the guests was catered for with a broad smile and quick service. They really looked after the children very well too The rooms and facilities are top class.... More

This is a small place but perfectly formed. The rooms are in the gardens and well appointed. The food is wonderful, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The best we had during our whole trip. It is a relaxing laid back place but the great service is always there in the background. The only thing is that if you eat there every... More

The setting for this hotel is just wonderful - peaceful, luxurious - wonderful scenery- cant praise it enough. Beautiful rooms with a big log fire which we lit one night as it was chilly, spotless rooms, gracious staff and wonderful food - would go back tomorrow

I booked this hotel for 2 nights as a great for my wife and it was such a good choice. It is situated between Franchoek and Paarl (nearer to Paarl) and is nearly two miles up in the hills through the vineyards nestling below mountains. The surroundings are incredible and restful. The whole experience was so relaxing that we could... More

My husband and I have stayed at Angela three times now and the only disappointment we ever feel is that we cannot stay longer! The rooms are tastefully decorated, have all the amenities you could ask for, and are cleaned every morning. Staff members are always friendly, polite and discreet. We love the breakfasts and always make sure to enjoy... More

Angala is a place of tranquilly, love experienced through the beauty of the property and the people themselves, and where you feel I could stay for a while. Next time I'll want to upgrade to the luxury suites so I can have direct mountain views from my bed. I came on a Qoya, writing retreat, and what a perfect place... More

Fantastic 5 night stay at Angala First let me say that this isn't Franschhoek...unless you count about 20km as nearby. You'll need a car to get around. We stayed in the separate annex with its own pool, outside shower, outside bath tub and wonderful views of the mountains....quite idyllic and restful. Breakfast and main meals are served in the main... More

This place is like heaven on earth! We only stayed one night but wished we could stay longer. We were upgraded to a luxury suite which was beautiful, very comfortable and had a private garden and a view over the mountains and a small lake. The hotel services are top notch and the food was very good too. I had... More
