We stayed in Pear Tree Cottage on Bo La Motte Farm for half-term in October and cannot recommend it highly enough. What a find! From the moment you arrive and are welcomed by Christelle and the four friendly dogs, you feel like you are at home. Set in the most spectacular landscape of rolling vineyards, green hills, distant mountains and...

This great little find was reviewed in our Travel Section of the Sydney Morning Herald, of all things. Thought w would give it is go as we wanted to go to some of the wineries and it saved the tedious trip back to Capetown after several wineries and a long lunch. Needless to say, Oak cottage was fabulous, great lounge...

We rented the Pump and Owl Cottages for 4 nights to share as a family of 6 adults and 3 kids. The accommodation was excellent and the beds very comfortable. The cottages are very close to town and were serviced daily. We were initially concerned that there was no dishwasher nor washing machine but the cottages were serviced daily and...

We stayed here before going to a wedding on a nearby farm. When we first arrived we didn't have hot water due to the geyser tripping. The host apologised with a bottle of wine and olive oil, on the house. The views from our room made up for it.

This was our second visit to Bo-Lamotte but this time we stayed for 5 days! We again stayed in the Milkwood cottage. With a view over the vineyard and a view over the mountains - this is our most favourite place. We arrived late on the Friday afternoon and it was cloudy and rainy. To our surprise we found the...

The Pump House at Bo La Motte farm cottages was perfect for us. The apartment was spacious, and warm - it was chilly outdoors. The kitchen had everything we needed. Located about 10 minutes walk from the bustling main road of Franschhoek.

After searching around for a place to stay we stumbled on this GEM - from the booking stage, right through to the departure the staff and management were superb, actually outstanding to say the least. We have stayed at a number of self catering cottages and this (the Pump House and the others we viewed) was the best equipped and...

I spent five nights in "0ak Cottage" and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It is obvious that a lot of care and attention has gone into the furnishing of the cottages. The location is beautiful and peaceful and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Particular thanks to Christelle for her help in sorting out some issues with my hire car....

It felt like New Zealand. I took a walk around the estate. Tranquil, lots of dogs keeping me company, nice bottle of Chardonnay and they own olive oil from their farm in the kitchen. Jennie is really sweet and she has the polo ralph lauren aristocracy about her. Hope she recovers from her accident soonest. We enjoyed our stay but...
