Spent two nights whilst touring the wine lands.Stayed in detached villa, very well appointed, all necessary facilities, kitchen , lounge balcony and bathrooms.Grounds were very pleasant for a quiet walk. Breakfasts were delicious and very varied, hot cold anything we wanted and sitting on outer balcony with views to surrounding mountains very scenic.Bar area for an afternoon/evening cocktail also became...

If you stay at winelands area Le Franschhoek is worth a visit. Large and comfortable rooms with lovely views are spectacular. The garden and swimming pool will cool you down af hot sunny days. It is a fantastic place to relax. The hotel is located too far from the city to walk. I liked the hotel restaurant. Food was delicious...

A relaxing uncongested and clean Hotel with a small pool. Secluded, but still surrounded by a lot of very good wineyards! Rooms very tidy and clean. Fine dining. Very welcoming and courteous staff! We should have spent a night more (have been there for only one night!)

Our stay here was great. Arrived on Valentines Day so missed out on eating in the restaurant but ate there the following night. Food and service great. We stayed in a two bedroomed house which was lovely if a little tired looking. Very clean and comfortable. Two verandahs with seating. Used the pool with butler service for drinks which was...

We were part of a group of 36 which visited the Le Franschhoek for two nights in early February. The hotel is set in a fantastic landscape where the keen photographer can witness the mists and fog roll off the mountain tops into the valleys below. The hotel provides excellent rooms and facilities. On the first night we were informed...

We were a family of 5. We all had really nice rooms which were well appointed and which all had a good view toward the mountains. There is a lot to do in Franschoek so we were generally out and about during the day and a bit we were there. We really only experienced the breakfast restaurant and afternoon tea....

We stayed at the hotel to attend a wine and food pairing dinner. Both the chef and the wine maker spoke, elaborating on why a particular wine was better when accompanied by the food choice. The dinner was magical. Educational too. A fun evening for all of us. The hotel itself was luxurious: large rooms, amazing views of the mountains...

A place where you can let go of the stress of business and simply be transformed into a country gentleman. In the most natural way the staff at Le Franschhoek create a home away form home but with real elegance and attention.

this hotel is small and cosy, like a little colonial hub tucked away in the mountains. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A free shuttle is provided in to and back from the small main street, about 10 mins away. The breakfast is a decent spread, but the restaurant food is average, better to eat in the town. There...
