Great location, the restaurant was also very good. Housekeeping can improve, requested extra with no joy and had incident where lady just walked into the room without me hearing a knock or announcement, she claimed she knocked but never said a hello or anything as she walk in!

Lovely clean hotel excellent pool with best view and it's a suntrap. bar good restaurant good breakfast good plus many other local restaurants near buy staff nice secure parking our room wasn't sea facing but didn't need it 30 second walk to pool plus pub was good

We had a 2nd floor seaview room, which was excellent with a view right across Hout bay. Large comfortable bed, clean and spacious. The pool , set up above the hotel was excellent, also benefitting from those views. Staff were helpful and friendly. We ate here, outside both evenings. Why go anywhere else, with calamari that good?! Good wine list too. We’ ll definitely stay here on our next visit .

Our room was better than The Pivot hotel in Monte Casino. It was comfortable with heated towels and soft lighting. We watched the World Cup rugby game from our bed. The breakfast was great. We had been traveling and this stop over was one of our very best value for money stays.

Awesome hotel with fantastic staff. Room very clean and modern and the food was fantastic. I will be back in Cape Town soon and will stay here again. Parking for my rental car was also available in a safe garage at the hotel.

We enjoyed this lace for four nights while exploring the southern cape. Perfect spot for it. Chapman’s Eak drive is a fun way to start any day. And the small towns and beaches south of here are fun to explore. Nice to come back to the hotel for dinner and drinks and cozy room. Staff was professional and kind.

We were very disappointed at the manner in which we missed out on dinner, two nights in a row. Having been in the bar for pre-dinner drinks for at least 45 minutes, we were suddenly informed at 19h40 that the kitchen was already closed. No warning, no notices, just "by the way, you're already too late." We really do fully understand and appreciate the challenges that the taxi strike posed for the hotel (although certain other establishments were able to make a plan to serve customers), so our gripe is simply that if the hotel is not able or prepared to make a similar plan, then surely they can communicate that to their residents? There are daily notices posted in the hotel with the latest loadshedding times, so why not the revised restaurant hours...? Even easier would have been to check with us as we sat there, whether we would like to order before closing.... The next night we dashed back to hopefully be in time, only to be told at 19h15 that we were out of luck, again. Although the restaurant manager was sympathetic, the other management lady was dismissive, and did not address our complaints about the lack of communication. It didn't help our mood the next morning that renovations being done right next to the restaurant during breakfast resulted in such strong fumes permeating the area that we decided to skip breakfast. Still, it was the lack of basic communication and concern re dinner that left the bad taste.....…
